by KyMetgirl on 10/12/11Eastern Kentucky Expo Center - PikevilleI know these type of games can only take place because of the NBA lockout, but I wish they could be an annual thing. I, along with the rest of my group, had a great time seeing some of our former college favorites in action. In addition, it exposes us to some of the players from the smaller schools around the state of Kentucky. I will now keep track of the Pikeville Bears this season too - they are poised to repeat their championship. The East Ky Expo Center is a great venue - large enough to host bigger events, but small enough to still feel "intimate" with the action.

Looking forward to another great season of basketball from the Bears. It was great seeing some of my favorite KY pros out there on the same team as well. Thanks for including players like Fahrid & Mack in the mix. Just gave a peak of what could have been if they had a chance to play on the same team.
