Phantom as ballet not a good idea
by Anonymous on 10/22/12Curtis M Phillips Center for Performing Arts - GainesvilleConsidering that The Phantom of the Opera revolves around an opera house with a musical genius training the up-and-coming star, telling the story through ballet was not effective. As for the performance, it could have been much better rehearsed. There were several numbers in which the dancers were off-beat and out of sync with each other. Considering the cost of the tickets, I do not feel the performance measured up.
