This was positively hands down the worst performance , professional or amateur, i have ever seen. the story line was hard to follow , the music lacked excitement or explanation of the story's events, the one audience involvement was unclear and low excitement. The sets were ridiculously inadequate. We traveled from Duchess county NY and what a waste of gas, time and toll$.

Peter Pan was fantastic with childhood innocence

by Tal7 on 2/17/16Festival Place - Sherwood Park

My Family and I really enjoyed this Valentines outing. My 4 year old son was mesmerized. We really enjoyed the characters of Peter Pan, Wendy, Tinkerbell and Captain Hook. The mermaid were also a delight to watch. All the actors in all areas did a fantastic job.

    Not Disney but still entertaining

by Smori on 8/17/15NYCB Theatre at Westbury - Westbury

The theater group put on a great performance of Peter Pan targeted towards younger children (7and under). The performance is loosely based on the book. Sometimes it became confusing and a bit disorganized, but overall they did a fine job and showed much creativity with asking the audience to use their imagination. My son who is 9 found it very entertaining and funny at times.

    Peter Pan belongs in Neverland

by Jerseygram on 8/16/15NYCB Theatre at Westbury - Westbury

I was truly disappointed with this show. This was the first time going to see a play at Westbury. There were hardly no props at all. The songs were not from the Peter Pan I knew. The theater was cold. The only thing I found enjoyable was the voices of Peter and Wendy singing. Oh and the price for seats was also good considering. I have been to Westbury for concerts very often and always enjoyed myself. Bringing my 3 grandchildren to see this was a waste of my time. Driving in the rain, with much traffic from New Jersey. Not again unless someone can really brag about the play.

    A forgettable production

by MikePW14 on 8/23/13NYCB Theatre at Westbury - Westbury

my wife and I were extremely disappointed with the show. The scenery was completely lame and not close to what was represented on the website. Peter Pan did not fly and there was no tinker bell in the performance. We have seen high school productions that were far superior. Further, the entire performance was 1 hour and 4 minutes (including intermission!). If I had the time or patience I would have requested a refund on the spot, but my kids just wanted to leave. Even my 6 year old and soon to be 3 year old were complaining about the show.

    Pass on Peter Pan

by soblu113 on 8/23/13NYCB Theatre at Westbury - Westbury

Some of the actors didn't have mics, so it was hard to hear...seemed like a very low end production. Oh well...

    A Bit of a Disppointment

by queenswoman on 8/23/13NYCB Theatre at Westbury - Westbury

We have been to a handful of children's productions at Westbury and they are usually great for the kids! This one was a little disappointing, there was no set. I mean no set! No really, no set! They had a couple of props but that was it. While that is not the most important aspect of any show, it is on the list of important items. The story line and the acting were fine, there were other technical issues, like we couldn't hear what most of the Lost Boys were saying, not sure if they didn't have mics or if they just weren't working.
