    Not exactly what I expected

by anon555 on 8/27/13Music Hall of Williamsburg - Brooklyn

The venue was small and somehow despite being sold out, it wasn't even half packed. Had some good performances but Fifth Harmony were the ones to watch. Should have had them close out the show because once they performed a lot of us left. Money went to a great cause though and good try by Perez but maybe next time he should include a couple more well known people. It's a little awkward as a fan to look out and see a half empty place with a max capacity of 550. Can't imagine the performers felt too great about that either.

The whole gang ROCKED the House last nite! All the bands were amazing. For $21, it was worth my every penny spent. Ladyhawke is so amazing! She's such a sweet lady, Loved it when she showed up at the after show party. You go girl!!! ;-)

    Being under 21 sucks!

by caybay20 on 10/3/09House of Blues San Diego - San Diego

The main reason I wanted to go this show was to actually meet Perez Hilton. However, there were a few things that put a damper on my night. First of all, the tickets said 7pm so I literally rushed down to the venue to be there in time, only to find out the first show wasn't until 8. Second, no cameras were allowed, so my friend and I had to check them in for a fee. Lastly, being under 21 (we're 20) we were forced to sit in the upper stage and were therefore excluded from the show. Because of this "rule" that we were not allowed downstairs, we didn't get to meet any of the bands or Perez (who was out in the crowd the whole time) and to add salt to the wound, more than half of the crowd had cameras and were eagerly snapping away photos. Nonetheless, the music was amazing, I was definitely introduced to new bands that I wouldn't have looked into before. But honestly, I can only say that I'd have to recommend this to only my 21+ friends due to the exclusion and feeling of being left out the entire night.

    Blew my mind.

by Patrik on 9/30/09Wonder Ballroom - Portland

Best show I have ever seen, hands down. Each band somehow surpassed the previous one, yet they were all freaking amazing. NPSH was so full of energy, Julian Perretta was horribly charming and hugable, Semi Precious was crazy, amazing, spunky, and downright wonderfully frightening. Ladyhawke was the cherry on top of the cake. Pip is brilliant.

    Short, but so SWEET!

by JTyme on 9/30/09Wonder Ballroom - Portland

We bunched right up to the front, and we usually don't do that anymore. We only caught Semi Precious Weapons opening and of course, the lovely Miss Pip Brown (Ladyhawke). Both were amazing, but Ladyhawke stole the show. The crowd was great too.

    Where was Ida Maria??

by kateyg on 9/30/09Wonder Ballroom - Portland

We bought these tickets purely to see Ida Maria. We show up to find that she's not playing and the other band are...not our taste. Would've been nice to get some sort of notification *before* the show to let us know Ida wouldn't be playing.

Semi Precious Weapons were the best!

by idonthaveanicknamerightno on 9/30/09Showbox at the Market - Seattle

I had never really hear any of the music of the bands playing, I was brought to the concert with a friend, and Semi Precious Weapons was the first band to perform and they rocked. They hung out with the audience for the rest of the show. The other bands were amazing too, there was a lot of energy and everyone was having a good time.
