Had a great time. Wish they would have played some of the sing along songs played during most baseball games. It keeps the crowd up for the game!!

Field of Dreams Game was fun!

by Laverna on 6/12/12Huntington Park - Columbus

I enjoyed the game and watching the players I watched several years ago. There was a great mix of fun, humor and the rules made the game even more fun. Johnny Bench was unforgettable and the contests were fun to watch too.

    Tickets

by Anonymous on 6/12/12Huntington Park - Columbus

Bought tickets only to find out they were handing them out EVERYWHERE for free. Thought I was buying seats to the game to watch it. But no it was a general admission ticket that was for too small of an area with 3-4 deep standing room only. Ridiculous!

    A Baseball Fan's Can't Miss Event

by Scrangie on 6/12/12Huntington Park - Columbus

Short of World Series game or Baseball Hall of Fame induction ceremony, I'm not sure where you could get the chance to see so many major league all stars. Even better than the above-mentioned events, these old timers and recent retirees suit up and actually play at the Pepsi Max Field of Dreams Game. This year's game sold out the home of the AAA Columbus Clippers. The price was low enough that young families could bring their kids, and there was enough going on to keep everyone entertained. If you're lucky enough to have this event come to a city near you next year, I definitely recommend that you check it out.

    Very enjoyable evening

by Littleredpony on 6/12/12Huntington Park - Columbus

Having watched these ball players battle each other back in the day, it was fun to watch them play together. The joy of the local guys playing against the big league players was obvious. This was also my first trip to Huntington Park - what a beautiful facility. Everyone we encountered was friendly. We will go again.

    Field of Amazing Dreams

by AceIsBack on 6/12/12Huntington Park - Columbus

Incredibly special and unique event. To see several former all-stars and Hall of Fame baseball players together at the same time on a minor league baseball field is something I will never forget. I can't even imagine what the guy that won the prize must have been thinking actually playing against these living legends!

    Pepsi Max Field of Dreams

    by Tunaj27 on 6/11/12Huntington Park - Columbus

Johnny Bench was AMAZING!!! I loved watching this event because so many of my Baseball Idols were there. I just wish the players would have played the whole game. I can understand why Bench didn't play the field and Rod Carew explained why he wasn't in uniform or playing, but why didn't Frank Thomas and Wade Boggs play more than 4 innings? Randy Johnson was slated to be there, and I was looking forward to watching him, but he wasn't there. I was also Surprised that the players didn't go down the outfield line and sign autographs for the kids. I understand not signing for the older/middleaged crowd like me (even though I would never sell them), but the kids...come on.

This was such a fun evening. To see the local team compete against the legends of Major League Baseball was amazing. All the players seem to be having as much fun as the fans.
