    Great Jazz evening

    by R. R. on 1/30/19Flint Center - Cupertino

The Peninsula Symphony is great. But when they combine with an evening of exciting Jazz, the music is even better. We had heard Taylor Eigsti before as a guest performer, doing an incredible Rhapsody in Blue. This time was every bit as good, as he worked through 'Caravan.' And joining him were David Benoit and the two Brubeck brothers, Chris and Dan. All in all, a great evening we will long remember.

I saw several great concerts of Peninsula Symphony Orchestra at FLINT but I enjoyed this one in particular. Thank you to the helping donors, PSO and all the jazz lovers which showed at the concert.

My Review of Reunion, 3 Generations of Jazz

by Musical on 1/29/19Flint Center - Cupertino

I'm 79 and for all of my life until now I had little interest in jazz. To my surprise, this concert was truly outstanding! It caused me to realizes how beautiful jazz can be when performed well. My wife and I especially liked the exceptionally high quality of the piano playing by both artists.

    Amazing!

by Helen on 1/29/19Flint Center - Cupertino

We couldn't stop talking about the show, the performers, the conductors! My 17 year old and her friend were pulling up the songs on Spotify on the way home so we could continue the experience.

I loved the symphony. I loved watching all the violins do their magic in sync. Every piece of the symphony added their special touch to make it a wonderful experience and beautiful music.

    Amazing Concert

    by D. L. on 1/29/19Flint Center - Cupertino

Peninsula Symphony was great in featuring David Benoit, who played three of hits and also played three Brubeck classics with pianist Taylor Eigsted, drummer Dan Brubeck, and bass guitarist Chris Brubeck. Flint Center was filled with fans who gave the concert two standing ovations.

    The best of jazz

by Melita on 1/29/19Flint Center - Cupertino

Carried away on the millions of keys played by Taylor and David. No one does it better. And to have the Brubeck brothers in the midst, the evening was a delicious devouring with the frosting on the cake, the Peninsula Symphony. Magnificent night of jazz!

I love it when symphonies do Broadway shows the way they did!! All the songs were sung, and much of the dialogue! Fantastic!
