Wonderful Venue, great acustics, not a bad seat in the house! Patty and the band put on a Great show!!!
This was a very good show. Patty and the band performed great. She sang all the big hits and was very personable on stage with good stories about her life and the songs. Patty puts a lot of energy into her show so it is a fun time. I didn't think the sound system on Patty's microphone was good enough for her voice. Her tone was muffled and fuzzy in my opinion. The sound of the band was fine. The seating in the Cannery casino is not very good. All on one level, one person in front of another. Our view of the stage was blocked a lot of the time by people standing up, cell phones recording, so you have to look at the large screens on each side of the stage. Kind of ridiculous having to watch a screen when the act is less than 100 feet away from you. Seating should be staggered.
Patty was awesome! lots of energy! band sounded great! staff was very polite and helpful seats were too close together- kept touching person next me disappointed there was no merch esp since this was a bucket list concert
Front row seats and Patty and the band still sound amazing! Please come to Phoenix soon!
The Cannery Casino is a really nice place away from the crowds. An usher brought us to our seats and the show was great! Patty Smythe still has a voice and lots of energy.
First time seeing her. Her voice sounded just like her records. I liked the stories behind the music. Her band was great.
What a great performance form both BERLIN & Scandal.. we had so much fun and they get so personable..That is Amazing.!
What a great concert from two classic 80's bands! Playing a combination of old and new songs, both groups kept the atmosphere of the show personal and intimate. Patti Smyth and Terri Nunn both took time to address the audience and occasionally wander freely through the downstairs seating. Aside from some rude concert goers who could not behave in front of the stage, the show was absolutely perfect.
Patty and the band ripped up the stage with all the hits you wanted to hear, and then some. The band was extremely tight and Patty sounded like she did 25 years ago...and looked just as good! Loved her relaxed and playful stage presence,...wish more people had turned out,....don't know how well it was promoted, but the people there LOVED every minute of it! Can't wait to see them again soon!
I was wondering if Patty still had that great voice that she had back in the 80's. Well, my doubts disappeared the moment she came out and started singing! She sounds even better than she did, and her band rocks right along with her! She is very personable with the crowd, coming out into the audience at least three or four times. Would definately reccommend her show to anyone who loved her back in the 80's!
