My first time seeing Pat Travers was in 1979, which was fantastic with the Tommy Aldridge, Pat Thrall and Mars Cowling line up. This time, Pat only had a three piece band, which left me thinking he really could have used a second guitarist. Pat did play the majority of his classics, as well as a few cuts off of his latest release which were very good. The bassist and drummer were top notch and didn’t disappoint. At 69, Pat’s vocals have diminished a bit, but his guitar work was spot-on. He did spend a lot of time trying to get his equipment dialed in between songs - even started a few only to stop and make adjustments. Overall it was a good show and great to see Pat can still rock it.
