Mike Rosenberg, known better as Passenger, is a British singer/songwriter quickly impacting the folk-rock scene with his earnest and introspective lyrics. Passenger was formerly a band fronted by Rosenberg that released a number of albums before the band members parted ways. Rosenberg continued with the name, and his latest release, All the Little Lights, is a folk-rock, indie-pop album filled with songs of loss, love, and hope. Critics have praised Rosenberg for his charming and unique voice, poignant yet witty lyrics, and an album that feels fleshed out with additional strings, brass, and restrained percussion. Storming up the Billboard Hot 100, the single “Let Her Go” is a charming, whimsical, and lyrically remorseful song about a relationship in retrospect. Rosenberg supported fellow Englishman Ed Sheeran for most of 2012 before embarking on his first US headlining tour in summer 2013. Concertgoers applaud Rosenberg for his intimate one-man-band shows, raw talent, and charming banter. With tickets selling out for shows across Europe and Australia, fans anticipate an unfaltering music career ahead for this talented singer/songwriter.
What a joy to listen to his concert and see how he commands all attention solo
It was freaking incredible. I walked in as a general fan of Passenger, and walked out a super fan. His live performance was exceptional: super engaged with the audience, and outstanding quality. The opener, Old Sea Brigade, was also wonderful. The venue was unbelieveable, too! 10 out of 10 all around.
Great venue, great music, great rapport with fans.
This was a beautiful setting for Passenger but unfortunately, there seemed to be no circulation or A/c. Especially in times of Covid, this venue seemed ripe for super spreaders. No beverages allowed in (not even water bottles) In spite of these things, the concert was fabulous. Passenger had a big ring of sweat around his neck But continued to give it all to his fans. We waited two years to be with him again
I have been a fan of Passenger for many years and I’ve always wanted to see him live but never had the chance. Finally after the whole lockdown thing is all over this is the first concert I’ve been to in over two years so pretty emotional experience for me. He did a great mix of old and new songs. Lots of singing along. Venue is also perfect and he used it well especially when he did an unplugged version of whispers. So after this concert he still keeps the ranking of one of my favorite artists.
Seeing Passenger at the Immanuel Presbyterian Church was an absolute incredible experience. The acoustics were amazing and he put on a one of the best concerts I have seen. Thank you!!!
The concert was an extraordinary night of music by Passenger at the beautiful Cathedral Sanctuary. His songs of sadness, songs of hope, songs of love, and songs of social commentary were beautifully melancholy. A very special few minutes took place when he stepped away from the microphone and filled the cathedral with his guitar notes and his voice.
A super passionate and superb performance by Passenger! Every song sounds exactly like from CD quality!
He filled the room with energy and kept us laughing too. His voice and melodies sounded great and he had us singing along the whole time.
After being delayed 18 months it seems like I bought the tickets in a different era (which is true). His songs are so intimate that the Fillmore's the perfect place. He's also really engaging with his stories between songs and the way he gets the audience participating. Can't wait for him to return to the area and I hope it is to the Fillmore!
