About

PARTYNEXTDOOR IN CONCERT:

Drake protégé PartyNextDoor is an enigmatic figure who shies from interviews and doesn't like to divulge many personal details about himself. In concert, however, he lays it all on the line with mesmerizing, sexually-charged performances that prove he's a star on the rise. Blending melodic vocals, heavy bass, and spacey synths, he makes envelope-pushing R&B tracks similar to fellow OVO Sound artist The Weeknd. The minimalism and laid-back vibes of his recorded work translates seamlessly to the stage, where he transfixes concertgoers with his self-assured attitude and stunning vocals. From the slow burner "Sex On The Beach" to the bumping "SLS", PartyNextDoor's music is turning heads and making concertgoers eager to catch him on his 2015 world tour.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

PartyNextDoor, aka Jahron Brathwaite, is quickly becoming one of R&B's hottest up-and-comers. The Mississauga-born artist got his start making EDM-tinged R&B tracks and releasing them online under his own name. His early work caught the attention of R&B icon Drake, and at 19 Braithwaite became the first signee on Drake's OVO Sound label, a Warner Bros Records imprint that has since signed artists including The Weeknd, Majid Jordan, and OB O'Brien. In 2013 he made his debut as PartyNextDoor with a self-titled album, which landed at No. 6 on Billboard's Heatseekers Albums chart. Later that year he joined Drake, Future, and Miguel on the road for Would You Like A Tour? and contributed background vocals on two tracks from Drake's critically acclaimed third album, Nothing Was The Same. In 2014 he released his sophomore album PARTYNEXTDOOR TWO -- which features the Drake-assisted single "Recognize" -- and hit the road for a 14-date North American tour. He finished off the year by surprising fans with the four-track PND Colours EP and announcing a world tour slated for 2015.

PARTYNEXTDOOR is such an amazing artist. His music is hypnotic and you just cant stop listening to it. My personal favorite is Belong To The City. I really hope he does a concert in South Florida.

    AMAZING

by ss on 5/28/23History - Toronto

PND and Friends was such an amazing experience and im so appreciative that we were able to see so many artists for free. the process of getting everyone in the doors seemed to be delayed and it took a bit for PND himself to come out but his set itself was amazing.

    Truly an experience

by Kylene on 5/28/23History - Toronto

Not only did I get to see Party, FOR FREE! Thanks to Sirius XM & Verified Fan tickets but the lineup in general was phenomenal. Savannah Ré, Boi1da, Roy Woods and more. Of course the best surprise of the night was when Drake came out to perform two songs and help announce Party’s new album. The venue was clean, and security was very tight and thorough which I appreciated. The only thing I would want different is a more streamlined process to get in. Doors opened at 7, and I wasn’t too far in line (middle) and still waited 2 hours.

    Great performance by PND

by MarinaIbiza on 2/4/17The Fillmore - Miami Beach

Loved the vibe of his performance and the lightning, his voice was absolutely blended with the visuals and the vibe, great experience. Jeremih was just expectable, nothing new and those strippers on the sides were unnecessary. Opening acts were incredible too, specially a girl with an amazing soul voice, can't remember her name. He brought out T-Pain and Ace Hood too.

Summer's Over Tour featuring PartyNextDoor only

by Ghazzalle on 1/3/17The Masonic - San Francisco

Although PARTYNEXTDOOR killed the show, I also paid to see Jeremih and was upset when I heard he was released.

    It was good, but short!

by icccccc on 12/14/16The Masonic - San Francisco

I'm a Partynextdoor fan and this was my first time seeing him in person. It was good, but very short. I felt like he didn't perform enough songs. It was his last show of the tour, I expected more. But the songs he did play were good except for the music being louder than the mic.

I love PND performance, but I wasn't impressed nor did I care for the group called "They". They were so awful that they should have performed first before I arrived.
