    parrotbeach

by Marytdhastings on 6/15/15Mount Airy Casino Resort - Mount Pocono

They started out fine, then it began to rain. Ok so they covered the stage and equipment to prevent damage. The rain stopped and they still had an hour to go in their set, however, they just packed up and left. Really so what happens to us people they paid for the event, just the heck with us, I don't think that was professional.

    miss informed

by unhappywmtairy on 6/15/15Mount Airy Casino Resort - Mount Pocono

Thought this was a show. NOT! This is a nightclub with a cover charge. The band was outside and when it rained after half hour show was over. DJ played inside by pool. NOT something my friends and I where interested in. Only pool lounge chairs to sit on. I even called Mount Airy with questions before hand and was not told this was just a night club. Thought this was a stage show with seating. Show was good for the half hour.

Tired and stale, not worth the $

by Parrothead2011 on 8/19/11Penns Peak - Jim Thorpe

This band is not the tribute band they claim anymore. They were decent 10 years ago, but their show is the same old same old, and to pay $26 / person for one hour+ long set was a total rip off. This is for a band you can see for free at the shore or ski slopes. I don't know if it was the band or Penns Peak that decided to "cash in" on the local Parrotheads, but this band has certainly turned into a commercial cash cow machine, save your $ there are much better trop rock band out there.

    ParrotBeach was forgetable

by ahand on 2/15/11Penn's Peak - Jim Thorpe

I did not think this show was anything special. They did too much talking and not enough playing. They performed Jimm Buffet songs with their on twist instead of playing it the way it was originally recorded. I could have paid less and saw a better band.
