PANAMA WEDDING IN CONCERT:
Panama Wedding creates lush, kaleidoscopic synth-based music reminiscent of the best '80s pop anthems. Frontman Peter Kirk's arena-sized croon evokes a young Phil Collins, and his confident, upbeat performances are the perfect complement to the band's soaring tracks. From the epic chorus of "All of the People" to the summery vibes of "Uma", Panama Wedding's feel-good, dance-worthy sets on tour always leave fans wanting more.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Panama Wedding began as the bedroom recording project of Long Island-born singer, songwriter, and producer Peter Kirk. After relocating to Manhattan and renting studio space, Kirk began performing his electronic compositions as a solo act throughout New York City. As the project gained momentum, Panama Wedding grew into a full ensemble with a drummer, and in 2013 the new lineup released a reworked version of Kirk's song "All of the People". The updated rendition was a massive online hit, garnering nearly one million plays on Soundcloud and landing the band a deal with Glassnote Records. Several high-profile CMJ shows followed, cementing the band's place as one of indie pop's brightest rising acts. An energetic and inspiring live act, Panama Wedding continue to keep ticket buyers moving and shaking on their must-see tours.

Awesome show. Super fun with a lot of great energy from the band and the crowd.
Went to the Great Scott Show and was even better than expected. Liked these guys a long time but thought the current line-up was the best yet! New guitarist (Aaron Chase?) might be the last piece of the puzzle before they hit big! See them now while we still can in smaller venues!
Panama wedding is a very good band, unfortunately the lead vocals were so buried for the entire set that it really ruined the show for me. The same was true for the band White Washed. This is the second concert I've attended at Rough Trade and the sound was the same for Benji Hughes. I think this the last concert I will be attending their.
Paperwhite, a brother-sister duo from NY, opened for Panama Wedding and they were surprisingly good. It was difficult to hear the lead singers voice, but they still rocked it. When Panama Wedding came out the crowd was pretty excited, but not like you see at a regular big name show. Let me tell you, they KILLED it! The bassist was unbelievably happy to be playing good music for his fans and you could see it all over his face. Very entertaining. The band was actually better live than they sound recorded. By the end of the show the crowd was unbelievably amped and begged for another song. I hope these guys make it big, they certainly deserve it!
The opening band was better than I expected, loved the lead singer's voice, and it was great to see Panama Wedding as the headliner! I thought they were great when they opened for Dan Kroll.
