Pan Am Roller Sports Tickets

I was not sure what to expect, but this event turned out to be very disappointing. Upon arrival, we parked in the parking lot for the PAC which was what was recommended on the PanAm website. We asked the gentlemen taking parking fees if he could direct us to the location of the event and we were told "Sorry, I just sell tickets to park". Once my family was out of the car we were then told by a volunteer that the event was actually not on the grounds of the PAC, but across the street and approximately a 20 minute walk to a local school. We were told that there would be PanAm volunteers directing us on the way there, but there were no volunteers to be seen. Once we arrived at the venue, we discovered there was parking right across the street from the event that had many spots available. Due to the unexpected walk we missed the Ladies 200M races. The seating was on the grass of a very steep hill that looked over the track located at the back of the school. Less than comfortable, and no advanced warning that we should bring blankets or something to sit on. My family tends to be pretty nimble, but I can only imagine how difficult and surprising it must have been for more elderly or disabled spectators. The Men's race only had 11 participants and was over in less than an hour. When I purchased my tickets back in December, there were no details on what we were going to see, but I did expect that we would see more than we did .

The price for what I paid for the tickets did not match what I saw. The venue was too far from the shuttle stop. There was no seating and also people who did not pay were able to see from the outside of the fences and they were not asked to move. I felt cheated. However the I enjoyed the sport and would like to see it again but at better venue.
