Great to be part of the Pan Am Games. As an European I mean. Short but very interesting, this preliminary. Great accomodation. Nice view, acceptable seats. Would go again.
I wasn't sure if Diving would be fun to watch live but we really got into it. It was a great event. Please do a better job of displaying where the main event will take place when purchasing tickets. We went for two events and both times the seats were at the end from the event Other than that had a good time, there were 2 events and Canada took home the Silver for both! GO CANADA!
I booked the day seats went on sale for the best possible seats and was subsequently emailed my approximate placement for the event. When I received the tickets, I could not view my seat placements due to restrictions on the Pan Am site and when I got to the event, my seats could not have been much worse. VERY DISAPPOINTING.
Pan Am Games have been great. Tons of friendly and helpful volunteers. The PAC facility is state of the art and beautiful. And of course it was great to see the Canadian women take home Gold and Silver!
Seats were really good, easy to see event. Loads of fun.
The event was great. The problem was with the seats. I purchased the most expensive category so I could have a good view of my husband's competition, but instead tickets master assigned me the worst seating area - even though I had payed for the best seating area. We were very upset.
New swim centre is very impressive. Good viewing even in the cheap seats. Could have had more concession options. Fail on organizers - putting medal ceremony where none of the paying fans can see it! (against stands with backs to the crowd). TV was obviously more important than live audience.
The athletes and view from our seats was great, however we and many other guests around us were very disappointed that the actual metal ceremony was not viewable by anyone in the grandstand. It was right up against the wall below us. Even the best seats would have not been able to see it. Very disappointed in this aspect
