About

OUTKAST IN CONCERT:

Known for their infectious hooks and eccentric stagewear, hip-hop legends Outkast have been spitting hits since their 1994 debut Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik. Whether Andre 3000 and Big Boi are exchanging verses on "Ms. Jackson" or flowing hard on their classic "Roses," the rappers still know how to get down during their performances and deliver the goods for audiences. Back on tour, Outkast will have fans shakin' it like a polaroid picture as they reunite for their highly anticipated shows.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Atlanta-based duo Outkast got their start in the early '90s as a high school music project between Andre "Andre 3000" Benjamin and Antwan "Big Boi" Patton. They released their breakout debut Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik in 1994, which featured the No. 1 single "Player's Ball" and launched them to success virtually overnight. Since then, Outkast have met with tremendous critical and commercial success over the course of their two-decade career including Top 10 spots for all six of their studio albums, six Grammy Awards, and praise from Rolling Stone and Pitchfork for being pioneers in the hip-hop game. Back on tour to celebrate their 20th anniversary, Outkast will treat lucky ticket buyers to their trademark energy at a number of must-see performances.

    Crazy show!

    by IkeLove313 on 9/11/16Aaron's Amphitheatre - Atlanta

Fun show. Ice Cube came out and did his thing, Erykah Badu was soulful and not bad but when she hit them high notes it was kinda terrible. Outkast showed up as part of the show and did dope classics. Seeing Big Boi and Andre 3000 together was freakin epic. Goodie Mobb and various members of the Dungeon family hit the stage and killed it. One Musicfest 16' was a great show and i recommend others to attend.

Outkast was great, but opening acts disappointed..

by ATLienFromMiddleGA on 11/10/14Centennial Olympic Park - Atlanta

I was one of the faithful Outkast Fans and purchased my tickets when they first went on sale. As the additional shows were announced, the opening acts were not given until 1-2 weeks before the event. Had I known that there would have been different opening acts for each show, I would have waited to purchase my tickets. The last star is for the opening acts.

The Sunday show was simply a celebration of Atlanta. If you knew of the Atlanta scene in the 90s, you absolutely loved the show.

    Thoroughly Enjoyable!

by Harris8892 on 10/25/14Centennial Olympic Park - Atlanta

This had to be the greatest concert experience of my life. I stood outside for 7 straight hours without the slightest feeling of hunger, fatigue or even an urge to use the restroom. After the show i told my sister I didn't realize that we'd been standing so long.

Sounded great, but couldn't see much

by Gracie6684 on 10/14/14Centennial Olympic Park - Atlanta

This is the 3rd time I've seen Outkast--the first in 12 years though. They played ALL the song for a solid 2+ hours. The only issue was we were so far from the stage we couldn't even see them or the screens because the venue was flat. The sound was phenomenal.

    Outkast At Last!!

by jplay on 10/13/14Centennial Olympic Park - Atlanta

I have wanted to see Outkast in concert since 2007. This was WELL worth the wait. The opening acts were good, Janelle Monae did her thing, 2 Chainz was entertaining, but Future's set was not as good as I had hoped. Outkast came out running and didn't slow down. You would think that they had made these songs last year, there weren't any missteps in the lyrics, they brought out Bun B, Big Gipp, Dungeon Crew, and Sleepy Brown. I can't wait for them to come back, if I could afford it I would have went all three days.
