    Great theatre!

by Wendy on 10/31/23OSU Proscenium Theatre - Columbus

The brand new theatre is beautiful with comfy seats and a great stage. I wouldn’t sit in the front row though, as it seems very close to the stage. The show, She Kills Monsters was absolutely amazing! The cast was so talented and the set was beautifully done. The lead Emily was amazing! Bravo!

    Great acting!

by Parent on 2/15/20Ohio State Roy Bowen Theatre, Drake Center - Columbus

I would have never guessed that this was the main stage debut for the main character. Also, the ability to maintain the accents was phenomenal.

Great Play for Black History Month

by Beth L. on 2/12/20Ohio State Roy Bowen Theatre, Drake Center - Columbus

In 1833 London, a black actor steps into the role of "Othello." The role has typically been played by white actors even though the character is African, and controversy ensues. Interesting commentary on race relations. The costumes were nice and the actors/actresses did a great job!

    Awesome experience

by Rio on 11/20/19Ohio State Thurber Theatre, Drake Center - Columbus

I have to admit that I was sceptical about this but wow blew my mind. They made this Shakespeares play funny, entertained and easy to understand and follow. Hands down to the guy playing Bottom (Sean).

    Kylie Logan was phenomenal.

by Jackette on 3/4/19Ohio State Thurber Theatre, Drake Center - Columbus

The content of the play was relative to the issues surrounding women today. It was a man's world in 1913 and still is today in some arenas, especially in the movie industry. Kylie's stage presence is the best I've seen. She does not yell her lines at the audience as some actors do. She speaks in a regular tone of voice and yet I can hear and understand her every word. Her every emotion is felt. Some actors yell at the audience as if they were being scorned. Maybe they have not learned the technique of voice projection. Kylie's exceptional stage presence made the play worth attending.
