I am not a ballet lover. I bought this by mistake thinking it was for the broadway opera Carmen, and turn out to be a ballet. For a ballet is was enjoyable. The second half was a lot more entertaining than the first. I did enjoy watching like I said but would not repeat it. Not something I loved. I you are a ballet lover then I would recommend watching this then for a first time
The music, choreography and performance by the dancers was the best ever! I saw the 3PM show and the acting quality was superb along with the amazing lifts by the main characters who played the part of Belle and the Beast.
My wife and I traveled to Orlando for a weekend getaway, and as part of it we planned to see the show. We had read good reviews from the company on the web. To our surprise and disappointment when we sat down in our seats we realized that the orchestra pit was empty! I would have expected that a presentation by a professional ballet company would have had a live orchestra as part of the show. For a moment we even thought that somehow the orchestra was backstage somewhere. Unfortunately this was not the case, and the performance was to recorded music. The lead ballerina Areum Chung did OK, but the quality of the rest of the dancers was regular.
Overall the ballet wasnt bad. As a former dancer there were just a few things that were hard to get passed. For example, they were not together during the most of the performance, the lifts were labored and awkward, and some of the scenes were odd and choppy. In addition, i was surprised at the length (it was only an hour). The time frame was a little short. Overall it was a nice mid day event. I would see another ballet that they had a little more time to work on.
Orlando Ballet put on a good show for families... the choreography was not as involved as other ballets, but seemed appropriate for this Family Series Ballet. My family enjoyed it!
A wonderful piece of entertainment!! Very talented dancers/athletes who seemed to enjoy their part. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Very imaginative choreography and simple sets. It was a shame more tickets weren't sold for the matinee, but are balcony seats were exchanged for very nice seats in ORCRGT.

Got re-seated into great seats. Show was excellent. Dancing was first class.
My husband and I had a lovely time. We preferred the more traditional style after the intermission but the whole show was entertaining.
My partner & I thoroughly enjoyed the event. The performance was amazing.
