Orishas Tickets

Orishas were a fabulous show. Beautiful voices, beautiful instruments, great songs. I think the lack of new music from the band in recent years, and the length that they have been so famous made the show lack a little energy. But honestly I think that is also largely because it was in DC which is a notoriously low energy music crowd. The experience at Howard Theatre was extremely disappointing though. I have been to two large scale events at the venue before, interactive performances, not concerts. Those experiences were both wonderful. However at the concert for some reason the lights were on the entire time which made for an uncomfortable and very unconcerty vibe. And the second the band was over all the overhead lights everywhere went on, all music was shut off, and bouncers came out to push everyone out immediately for another show coming up. I honestly would seriously rethink going to another concert at Orishas.

I never thought I'd get to see Orishas play live. They sounded great, and they got the audience involved.

This is the Best Cuban group in ages , I been followin them since 2000 I whent to theirs first concert in America , They were the first to mix Hip Hop with Cuban rithyms , theirs liricks are great and theirs voices real ( no computer filters) they conected with the public and made everybody dance and sing , It was very good that they got together after 7 years separation and I hope they last and create music for long time.
