Organ Extravaganza Tickets

The orchestra was very good. The organists were outstanding.

The Rialto Theater in Joliet has a very powerful pipe organ. The 5 performers that entertained played music ranging from ballads to showtunes to John Phillip Sousa marches. The performers were very professional and had the audience's attention throughout. The Saint Francis University Symphony Band also performed and did an outstanding job. I can't wait until the tickets go on sale for next year's Organ Extravaganza ! We will definitely be in the audience!

The theater is beautiful beyond words, but the program even "out-shone" the theater! The program was amazing.... such a wonderful grouping of extraordinarily talented musicians at the Piano and the Organs! Add to that the Joliet Symphony... what more can one say? The music was awesome. If you get a chance to attend this event... GO!!! However, be aware that balcony seating (although great view and perfect sound) is far less than comfortable. Our seats were so small and close together that it was extremely uncomfortable and we moved during intermission to three empty aisle seats higher up in the balcony. It made a significant difference in the ability to truly enjoy the program.

Wow What a show! a virtual organ ! an Orchestra! It was a Great touch to be able to see the hands of the organist on a big screen playing the music ! And the humor of all the artist this that played makes you enjoy the night even more. The music was Prenominal !!!

This Organ Extravaganza was different from the other years. There was a comedian. His material was okay but we were there for the organ music. The musicians who played the theater organ were very talented. The woman who played the electric organ was also talented but I did not enjoy that organ as much. In other years the organists played two or three different organs and the piano. The band was good but didn't get much time.

This is our fifth year attending the organ extravaganza and I was extremely disappointed. This year there was a new band that performed. They had a very good singer, but she was drowned out by the loudness of the instruments. Also, the conductor didn't know how to use the microphone and you couldn't understand a word he said. The band played more than the organists did! I came for the organ music NOT the band!

Anyone interested in theatre organ should attend. Top notch talent. Very entertaining. Total of 3 hours show and the time went very quickly it was so good!

Too much band not enough organ and piano. Enjoyed DePaul band and last year's band more.

I thought there was a little too much orchestra and not enough organ. Could have been more organs playing together. The orchestra had too many solos
