I missed this tour when it travelled to Long Island; I made a point of attending while I was in Florida. The Florida Theater was a 20's era performance hall w/ a vibe similar to the Beacon Theater in NYC. The show was very sparsely attended (perhaps 150 people).
It was an all acoustic event. In my view, the highlight of the event was Leigh Nash who sounded wonderful, and was funny, self-depricating and very winsome. Alex Aleakis of Everclear was also funny and good, although I was unfamiliar with the Everclear material, I was entertained. Eddie Kowalcyyk was a disappointment. I think the career downsizing post the 'Live' era may have been a factor, Also, the songs sounded dated, and stripped of electic guitars and bombast, sounded overly simplistic. Why is it that others from the same era (e.g. Eddie Vedder and Adam Durst) still sound revelant - I think it is the quality of the song.
