Obviously with the light park being postponed a year this event was smaller than initially anticipated, but it was evident that those putting on this event are giving it their all and it'll be a worthwhile event next year and hopefully for years to come!
My wife and I went to this event as a date. We really enjoyed the band and were grooving to their music. Neither of us had heard of the artist however we were very pleased and so glad we went. The venue is easy to get to and so glad Rochester is bringing in talent and creating festivals for music lovers. It would be great for this Festival to grow and for more bands and possibly opening acts as well. The number of ticket people and guards was comically overdone. I felt like I was going through the airport. A woman met us with a metal detector and gave us a wand down before we could get in. The Mayo Civic center is really cracking down on recording acts as they perform. It wasn't too obtrusive just had never experienced that before in our little Civic Center.
