Amazing and fan friendly.
by TLStrickland on 3/7/12Scope - NorfolkTeam was great. Kids were having a blast as well as the adults. A great way to introdyce kids to sports or just an excuse to have fun yourself.

I loved the fans' dedication to the game and they were very supportive of the team! And the SharX beat the Wave!
Great game!! Staff was great and kids loved meeting players.
They have gotten better than the first time we saw the Norfolk Sharx & Mermaids. More crowd interaction, more geared towards families. No more skimpy Mermaid cheerleading outfits (thank goodness!), the ones they had on at this game kept them a little more covered up but still looked good. Keep practicing guys and girls, you'll get there!
The game was fast and enjoyable to watch....after we moved to some less expensive seats. The higher cost front row seats had NO view of the game whatsoever. The seats were located behind the team bench and the season ticket holder seats. Row A where we had seats are at the same seat height as the row in front of them which is bad enough for adults but impossible for kids to see. On top of that the coaching staff stand up on their bench blocking the view for the first several rows even for adults. We moved up in the stand about 8 rows to the "less expensive seats" in order to see the game
Had fun with friends. The mermaids could have been better.
Good fun for all. The game is fast and exciting, even though the team is not very good. The one guy named tennent mcvea is a beast though. Go out and support your local sports. Cheerleaders need to hit the gym too
This is the second Norfolk Sharx game that I have attended. And I was told when I was young that if you have nothing good to say, don't say anything. I don't know if it is the players not responding to the coaching, if the coaching does not know what they are doing. This is one very bad team. And they are not worth going to see. I considered buying season tickets. I am glad that I passed up on this.
Would not pay to watch another Norfolk Sharx game, not worth it. Players are not worth watching.
Took my daughter and her friend to the game more out of curiosity than anything else. I was impressed with the organization. I think as a startup club they need some time to sync their skills together, but in all we had a good time. We will be back.
