    Passionate, Alive, Talent!

by Michelle5280 on 5/8/11University of Denver - Newman Center - Gates Concert Hall - Denver

What a pleasure to witness these amazing Spanish musicians and dancers. It was if we were in their home town watching an authentic performance. I would see them again.

    Noche Flamenca was a treat!

An excellent performance that I would highly recommend, better than one I attended in Sevilla, Spain. Need more of these type venues in Denver.

This was an amazing event, full of life, vitality, entertainment, and expression. I would love to see this again, and would recommend this performance to friend, family, and even strangers on the street. It is moving and beautiful.

    soledad barrio & noche flamenca

Mesmerizing and emotional! Steeped in Spanish culture and tradition...not a hint of mainstream entertainment. Beautiful!

Very entertaining and soul-searching. The dance movements and music was filled with so much passion. It was as though they (and I) were reliving the tragedies of the past.

My husband and I were VERY disappointed. We expected a lot more for the price. We and others left at intermission. We thought there would be more dancers. The singing was aweful, very boring. I saw flaminco dancing before and it was awesome but this...not good at all. Very expensive for what we saw. If they come nex time, we wont be going.

Amazing talent which crescendoed as the performance went on. The music/singing, however, was not to my liking.

    athletic but monotonous and repetitious

by quantumapocalypse on 2/1/11Heymann Performing Arts Center - Lafayette

Essentially the 2+ hour program, though very athletic, was drained of my interest in 15 minutes. Probably more interesting to people who new the history and tradition and spoke Spanish.
