George Boggs is the Crossover Character!

    by George Boggs on 4/26/23

Instead of the curtains going down at the end of the performance, the characters will meet the viewers at the end as the new highlight! The question is "Is George the main star of the show?" Yes! That's why we want George Boggs as the star of the show.

    AMAZING SHOW!!!!!!

by Anonymous on 2/24/12California Theatre of the Performing Arts - San Bernardino

My three year old spotted the advertisement poster last year when we were walking and I immediately got home and checked ticket prices. The show was amazing!!! It was very colorful, fun, busy and alive which kept both children and parents alert. I love how interactive the cast was with the children, they didn't open with the typical "everybody on stage" they ran up and down the aisles and even stood on the floor infront of us. They included the audience in the show as well, all the children got a kick out of yelling "Swipper no Swipping!" and letting Dora and her crew know when danger was coming. They even got to help with the maps directions. My lil one cried to the Heavens when the curtains closed but she was okay a little after the show. Diego came out in the Lobby and signed autographs and spoke to people as well which was really fun for the children. Overall the show is worth seeing if you have a lil one who Loves Dora and Friends!!! It was also great that the show was in San Bernardino instead of further away in places like Los Angeles, Ontario, Anaheim etc. Great Show!

FOR BEING A NICKELODEON EVENT I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED. I EXPECTED THE CHARACTERS TO BE DRESSED UP IN THE BIG COSTUME OUTFITS AND INSTEAD THEY JUST HAD REGULAR CLOTHES SIMILAR TO THE CHARACTERS. THE THEATER HOSTING THE EVENT WAS HORRIBLE. THEIR SNACK BAR INCLUDED JUST CHIPS N CANDY, R U KIDDING ME?. THE WORST PART WAS WE WERE NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE PICTURES.

    Dora was downright awesome!

by Moniewoman on 2/13/12California Theatre of the Performing Arts - San Bernardino

I took my four year old Dora loving daughter to the Dora the Explorer Pirate Adventure show. We both enjoyed it very much. She loved that the majority of all the characters were there with the exception of a few (Grumpy Old Troll, Big Red Chicken, her parents, Abuella, and super babies). For this show though, all the characters that's should be there were there and we're very entertaining. Loved swiper, and although the Dora character was a tad over-energetic, and the TV show Dora is more calm, for the show it was fun. My daughter liked the audience participation of standing and marching, waving her flag and singing the familiar songs. The show was the perfect length at about an hr for small children. I wish the snack line wasn't in the middle of the lobby, making it difficult for others to get to their destination, but overall the theatre was old school classy cute, and the show was very enjoyable.

    Too loud

by Anonymous on 2/13/12California Theatre of the Performing Arts - San Bernardino

Cute story line and fun show, but extremely loud. My daughter covered her ears and we moved to the back of the theater, but it was too loud so we left.

A Rockin' Good Time with Dora and Friends!

by RCJR22 on 2/13/12California Theatre of the Performing Arts - San Bernardino

I took my 3 1/2-year-old daughter to see Dora and we both really enjoyed it! The venue was small enough that there were no bad seats. Being familiar with the Pirate Adventure DVD, the songs were familiar, fun and easy to sing along. The performers did a great job of involving the crowd, which made it very entertaining. My only complaint stems from the sound/volume, which made it difficult for us to hear some of the characters. However, it appeared to be a technical issue, which was adjusted throughout the show.

    Good Show, could be better

by MATMAR on 2/13/12California Theatre of the Performing Arts - San Bernardino

Show was excellent. The only thing i would like to see changed is Dora being a bit more true to her skin tone. The Dora and Diego were not close in skin tone to the actual Dora and Diego. Other than that, great production.

    Dora Live

by dolfnsong1 on 2/12/12California Theatre of the Performing Arts - San Bernardino

The theater was very nice. My 2 1/2 yr old loved the show & really held her interest. The show stayed true to a normal episode of Dora which was very nice. However the show was much too short, I was waiting for a second play/ episode. For the price I paid I expected it to be a bit longer. However since my daughter liked it, it was worth it.
