    Hockey Great, venue awfull

by rgbjr on 3/16/13Gatorade Garden City Complex - St. Catharines

The game was great and the quality of hockey very enjoyable however the arena is terrible. I could not sit in the seat, less then 5 inches of leg room, my 15 year old daughter was too big. Waste of money to buy seats.

Niagara Ice Dogs vs. Erie Otters

by Jt343 on 12/19/12Gatorade Garden City Complex - St. Catharines

Game was great. Small rink with a great atmosphere and experience. Great hockey game. Good prices and easy parking close to rink at a cheap cost as well. Would love to attend another game.

    One of a kind

by rjw8625 on 11/26/12Gatorade Garden City Complex - St. Catharines

They will never build another arena like Jack Gatecliff. It's not the most comfortable, but where else can you buy two tickets and share a hinged wooden bench? The ceiling is wooden slatted and the hockey is pretty good too. Many many NHL draft prospects make their way through St. Catharines at one time or another.

A Must for Any Hockey Fan

by Mayday1011 on 4/23/12Gatorade Garden City Complex - St. Catharines

We have been going to OHL games for years. This arena is a real throwback. It is noisy, quaint, the fans are into it, they have a percussion band, the ice surface is tiny... All around great atmosphere, and it is a dying breed of sports experience in North America. If you are a fan of hockey, you must make it out to an Icedogs game.

    IceDogs DOMINATED!

by DAndreu on 2/28/11Gatorade Garden City Complex - St. Catharines

The game was awesome. The IceDogs dominated the Petes. I got to "meet" Bones, the IceDogs mascot and got my picture with him. The workers at the Gatorade Garden City Complex were very nice and very friendly. The only draw back was there was NO parking anywhere here. If you go, make sure you are there way in advance to find street parking because it's very limited.

    But I have a ticket!

by sabrefan on 10/17/10Gatorade Garden City Complex - St. Catharines

I and one other fellow sat in section E, row D. At the beginning of the game we were the only ones in the row. By the second period we were fighting for the spaces we paid for against families and kids who took over from the SRO section above. I don't really mind people filling in and wanting better seats but the folks who have tickets have some rights, too. Where are the ushers? Can't the kids wait till the game is two periods old before jumping in line? I drove to St. Cats from Buffalo because I couldn't get into the Sabre/Canadians game. One of the kids that snuck into our section had an Iphone so I got to watch both games. The "dogs" were better than the Sabres but everyone knows that anyhow!
