    Ok raygay

by Doodaamon on 9/12/18Bold Point Park - East Providence

Seating is pitiful. All flat. Must stand to see. Don't even bother paying for a chair. Music was ok but all except steel pulse seemed hurried. Didn't even bother staying for Ziggy.

Really? $11 beer or $14 drink. $4 for water! $6 chairs that most folks couldn’t get out of and couldn’t see stage

    Great Reggae Lineup

by PBruinsFan128 on 9/12/18Bold Point Park - East Providence

The musicians themselves were great. Each band had its own spin on on reggae music, whichI really liked. Ziggy Marley did not disappoint as the headliner, and Steel Pulse's musicianship was a pleasant surprise, as I didn't know much about them. I was not a big fan of the venue. The lawn sections, parts of which are obstructed view because of the lights and sound booth, are small and slope upward towards the stage. India Point Park, with its bowl design, is a WAY better venue.

Great show! I couldn't expect less from Ziggy and Steel Pulse. Tribal Seeds was ok but they need to up their play a little more. Even though it was almost cold the open venue benefited the sound. The fans behaved well, security worked fine, artists were on time; and l was greatly impressed seeing so many children in the venue. Reggae is alive!!!

    What a Bam Bam!

by Partfish on 9/12/18Bold Point Park - East Providence

This was my first Reggae Fest and my first time to Bold Point Park and I would definitely go again! The grounds aren't great, being mostly dirt, but I loved the location, the level vibes and the ability to dance and move about freely. The food was fabulous, even though the lines were very long, and the beer was cold, even if a bit dear ($11 Red Stripe tall boys, who knew?!) but the tickets were reasonably priced. Steel Pulse and ZIggy were in fine form! Missed the others so can't comment. One love.

    What a money trap!

by Chazzybee on 9/12/18Bold Point Park - East Providence

So disappointed! I paid for VIP but was told if I wanted a seat it would cost another $75 each chair. Not allowed to use the rental chair in VIP. So had to stand!!! It was in September and it was freezing outside! I would never recommend VIP or going to Bold Point Park that time of the year!!

    VIP section

by Marilyn35 on 9/12/18Bold Point Park - East Providence

All of the artists were amazing and put on a great show. I purchased VIP tickets at a “pretty penny” and thought there could have been more available seating for VIP. Would definetly go again, but paying for general admission tickets next time.

    Great event!

by JNoCT on 8/16/17Bold Point Park - East Providence

The artist were great, vendors were cool! The only thing I was disappointed with was I bought the hotel package and when I got there (a little late 1:30) was told the shuttle only ran from 4-10. So we missed performers in The beginning. The shuttle driver put the fear into us cause he said he only worked til 10 so don't call too late so we missed some of the last performer as well. For the price of that package I would have thought the transportation would have been better.
