A fun time, but a little sad.

by barelymoo on 8/31/19The Shrine on Airline - Metairie

We had a good time when we went to a couple of games for the New Orleans Baby Cakes, everyone was friendly and I would highly recommend it. On the down side, this is the last season the Baby Cakes will be in New Orleans. The stadium could use some repair and most of the food locations were already closed (only one open during the two games we went to). The crowd was very small but vocal. We made new friends while there and would go back again...if the team stayed. It felt like the Baby Cakes management, employees, fans and even the players had given up for the season, that was sad. Still it was a good time and I would love to go back again.

Had great tickets, but never got to see the end. Rained out

by Chuck on 8/25/19The Shrine on Airline - Metairie

Brought friends into town to watch a game that was rained out after 3 innings. Had 4 great seats, but couldn't sit there due to the rain.

Stranger Things Cap Night a Dud with Not Enough Caps

by B. B. on 7/22/19The Shrine on Airline - Metairie

Brought the kids to get Stranger Things caps. We arrived 40 minutes early and was told they had already sold out. We saw some people that were carrying around 10 caps apiece. Needless to say my kids were very disappointed.

    New Orleans Baby Cakes

by Tae on 7/7/19The Shrine on Airline - Metairie

Great game, food (of course, it’s Louisiana) the players were friendly and open to meet with fans after the game. The post game firework display was AMAZING! Will definitely make it to another game before the season ends.

Seats were behind homebase lovely seats. Got to meet some of the players. Pitchers for both teams were fantastic pitchers. Got a foul ball. Good day at the ball game.

    Awesome Night!

by J. R. on 5/5/19The Shrine on Airline - Metairie

This was our very first game ever and didn’t know what to expect. My family had a great time and we were greeted with smiles everywhere we went. The folks in the refreshment stand closest to “the shack” were outstanding! They were super funny and you could tell they really enjoy their work! We’ll definitely be back again next week!

Lame Ducks put on a Good, But not great show

by F. G. on 4/8/19The Shrine on Airline - Metairie

The Baseball was fine... long scoreless game til 8th inning, finally the CAKES won. Now the bad, Reduction in concessions, ( No Burgers, cold hot dogs, concession employees complete idiots, very few condiments such as no onions, relish only one station of Ketchup & Mustard. It's beginning to look like the team has already left town, or at least the owners. For opening day, fireworks were less than impressive and reduced in quantity.
