Nevermore Tickets

Warrel Dane's vocals were abysmal. Obviously he is a phenomenal vocalist, and I have seen Nevermore perform amazing live shows before. Jeff Loomis, Van Williams, and touring guitarist Attila Vörös played with perfection as always. Too bad Warrel's voice was shot for this show. First time I have ever heard him that bad. Jim Sheppard was off his game too. Either sick or drunk, but definitely not right. They played a good mix from their catalog and had great interaction with the audience. Because JAXX is such an intimate venue and a great place to see a show, all of the positives outweighed the poor vocals. I guess when you set the bar as high as Warrel Dane does with his singing, you will occasionally have a bad perfomance. Luckily, the music was ripping and Nevermore actually let audience members come up on stage and sing along and headbang with them. Can't wait to see them again. The sooner the better.

There were so many opening bands the sets had to be short. The bands were good but short. The sound was great, the venue was small but comparable. Overall good show

Really didn't expect what all I got. I will be honest, the only reason I went was for Nevermore. However, one of the bands had to cancel and 2 others filled in. Was it a waste of time waiting on Nevermore? Absolutely not!! Hatesphere was awesome, Blackguard had everyones heads moving and Warbringer was a shocking new surprise. Opening act, Prime Mover, was even a great start. All of this was awesome, since I had not heard of any of them before. I will tell you right now, I will go to see Hatesphere, Prime Mover and Blackguard anytime. Then Nevermore came on the stage and the night started kicking ass. They absolutely rocked. A bit of the old mixed with some of the new and it was all worth every dime and more of my affordable ticket. The coolest thing was when the bands came down and interacted with the crowd. Some of the bands even called their fans up on stage, even Nevermore. I love that they are not too "above the rest of us" and go out of their way to keep it real with their fans. It was an awesome experience that I hope to repeat again very soon.

It cannot be put in words. This was the best concert I've been to in a long time. If you're a headbanger, or if you enjoy real music (not that mainstream crap they play on the radio) you gotta see these guys live! NEVERMORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Meeting Nevermore was awesome. Very nice people. The Troc is a great place to see a show. Love Chinatown and the restaurants stay open till 3am !! Go see this band if you have the chance.

As an older guy who use to spend tons of time playing in clubs and seeing bands, I was very impressed with everything. The roped off section with the bar was very relaxing, the overall temperature was perfect, and the theater was easy to get to with pay parking lots outside. Being in the heart of China Town too we were able to enjoy some food after the show. As far as the bands, all bands were very good with Nevermore, of course, being the stand out. What a great band, and what a great show.

I have been to Jaxx before to see blindgardian play so i knew that the sound there sucked but this was beyond some poor sound mixing. Warrel Dane was such a let down his vocals were horrible. Jeff Loomis was great but I left before the performance was over I couldn't take it. Warrel Dane kept laughing off that he forgot the words etc. i waited 10 years to see these guys.
