Natalie Maines was great!

She and the band were great! She has wonderful energy on stage. The drummer - Jason, if I remember his name correctly - is fantastic, in the same class as Mick Fleetwood. Natalie's microphone was too loud, however. I'll bring ear plugs to my next concert, just in case it happens again.
Natalie Maines --Was not all that impressed. She did not really engage the audience very much. Did not introduce her band until very end. Guitar and drums strong. The opening act by Yaconelli was super.
We were very fortunate to see a world class singer backed by a wonderful band close to our home. She is definitely one of the great voices in music today. She started with a haunting version of Mother by Pink Floyd and ended with the liberal anthem, Not Ready To Play Nice. She really used her full range on that one and it was amazing. In between she played obscure covers by Ben Harper, Patti Griffin and Eddie Vedder. The musicianship was good but the songs were uninspiring. All and all it was a good show but I think it could have been more entertaining with more Chicks songs and different covers.
