    Natalie & Donnell Deliver

by MaryNicWNY on 12/15/23UB Center for the Arts - Mainstage Theatre - Buffalo

I’ve been attending Natalie’s concerts since before she married Donnell (so, about 20 years and 10 concerts). Several times she played the concerts with gusto months’ pregnant - and I remember her having to go backstage to nurse one of her babies during a musical interlude. It was such a pleasure to witness Natalie, Donnell and family again last night at UB Center for the Arts. Soooo much talent!!! Perfect Holiday Feel Good Fare! (Side note: we played Natalie’s “Blue Bonnets Over the Border” to start off our wedding vows this past June. Tear.)

    A heartwarming Christmas concert.

by Sharyn on 12/15/23UB Center for the Arts - Mainstage Theatre - Buffalo

This was such a beautiful Christmas concert. I could listen to Natalie fiddle all day. Her husband and children are also so talented. It’s amazing all that they can do- fiddle, sing, play piano, tap dance! Their family unity and spirit is really evident too. I took my 84-year-old father to the concert as he loves fiddle music. He never saw them before and he was in awe of their performance.

It was a most enjoyable experience. There was so much talent displayed from each member of the family. And the energy that was on stage lended itself to the holiday spirit.

    Great Family show

by Mick139 on 12/15/23UB Center for the Arts - Mainstage Theatre - Buffalo

Have been coming to see them whenever they are in town for over 20 years. Now with their own family and the little ones(some not so little anymore) participating it makes it even more enjoyable.

    Best concert ever!

by LarryG on 6/8/23Birchmere - Alexandria

This was the best concert I've ever been to. I saw Natalie at Strathmore 15 years ago and even though she and the band were great then, her Birchmere performance with Donnell Leahy and her son and daughter was spectacular. The bassist, guitarist and drummer added to this awesome show. The traditional Cape Breton music is great, but the additional tunes showcasing the groups talents with a Yo Yo Ma collaboration, Texas swing, gypsy jazz, etc, were outstanding. We were totally wowed!!

    Fantastic show

by Count on 6/5/23Birchmere - Alexandria

As soon as the show was over, I wanted to see it again. It was thoroughly enjoyable to experience the sheer talent of Natalie and her husband Donnell. Truly remarkable fiddlers. The addition of two of their very talented children along with the remainder of the band made the show a 5 star performance for me.

    Great playing but painfully loud

by Ellie on 6/5/23Birchmere - Alexandria

I went to hear the masterful Cape Breton fiddlers, but the band was so loud that I spent most of the evening with my fingers in my ears.
