BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Amsterdam-born Natalie La Rose spent her high school years studying voice and dance at the Lucia Marthas Dance Academy. At age 20 her dreams of a music career led her to relocate to Los Angeles, where she crossed paths rap superstar Flo Rida at an ESPY Awards after party. The two got together for an impromptu studio session, and Flo Rida was so impressed with La Rose's voice and confidence that he brought her on tour with him. After two years of performing around the world with the rapper, La Rose signed to his label in 2013. Two years later she made her recording debut with the ultra-catchy "Somebody", which shot up the charts thanks to guest vocals from singer Jeremih and a sample of Whitney Houston's 1987 smash "I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)". Since then La Rose has continued to impress on the road with beloved girl group Fifth Harmony on their Reflection: The Summer Tour.
