    Nancy was amazing!

by Mercad on 7/3/11B.B. King Blues Club and Grill - New York

The final show of Nancy in New York was simply a special treat for me especially celebrating my birthday with Nancy was the pinncle of my evening. Sadly her last show as she stated on stage will be her last in New York City after 60 years in the business, a timeless performer, she will be missed.

    Nancy Wilson was simply amazing!!!!

by DBUT on 6/30/11Robin Hood Dell - Philadelphia

The show was awesome. Nancy still has that voice and style that is one of a kind. Her band sounded like a full orchestra. She announced that this is her last year of concert tours. Thanks Nancy for 60 years of great entertainment. YOU MUST GO AND SEE THIS LIVING LEGEND WHILE YOU STILL CAN!!

Although still an evening worth spending, it is sad at the same time to see her labor to get thru a set, especially early on when she seemed to be having trouble with lyrics.

Nancy was great the venue was horrible

by mrmike007 on 6/27/11B.B. King Blues Club and Grill - New York

I was very disappoint to say the least . The seating was very bad. The servers was walking in front of you the whole show with no re-guard. I would not recommend anyone to go there for a show. The show was over booked. I had to continue to ask people to not stand in front of the table. Not to mention I could not get a manager to come out to the table after asking a half dozen times. I expected better from B.B. King Blues Club.

    Classy as Ever!!

by roskimary on 6/27/11Robin Hood Dell - Philadelphia

So glad my wife and I didn't miss this one. Nancy said that it's the next to the last show before retiring. We're so glad that we saw her in her elegance, and class, still having a strong voice. Nancy was also the ultimate professional. We were pleased with her selection of songs, including some real classics i.e. 'Guess who I saw today' and 'How glad I am'. Thanks for the memories, Nancy, and enjoy your retirement!!

    Nancy Wilson was stunning!

by kbontastic on 6/27/11Robin Hood Dell - Philadelphia

The weather threatened to rain early in the day. This would have been less desirable of course but given the event had a "rain or shine" classification it would have mattered little as we planned to go regardless of the weather conditions. Najee performed the opening act. I found his performance to be very enjoyable. Sometimes, opening acts fail to keep me involved. This time, Najee made the hour fly by with interesting and familiar performances on the saxophone and flute. His exit was fluid and the delay between setting up the stage for Ms. Wilson was reasonable. Ms. Wilson's outfit was stunning. It was a long lavender sequenced gown with a dramatic dip in the front. Her band members were all in tuxedos. The stage lights were more subtle and monotone in Ms. Wilson's performance as compared to the blazing dancing lights of the rainbow which set the backdrop for Najee. Ms. Wilson had a beautiful dialogue style with the audience. Her style was candid, kind and graceful. We enjoyed this "next to the last" performance of Ms. Wilson's and are grateful for her visit to Philadelphia.
