NHL Draft Party Tickets

Overall, it was a great idea and should have been a lot of fun. My main complaint is that after waiting on line for a half an hour to see Bobby Nystrom, he got up and left. I understand that the guy needs a break, but no one seemed to know when, or if, he was coming back. About 10 minutes later, we saw him being interviewed on the TV and figured that he would be back after that so we waited another 10 minutes or so. Still, no one could tell us if he'd be back so we finally left. If they knew he wouldn't be returning, they should have cut the line off at some point . We walked by later in the day and he was there again with another line. I asked one of the Coliseum guys at the table if he could get us up front or do anything and he was unapologetic and somewhat rude. People should not be left standing on line with no idea whether they'll get what they've been waiting on it for.

A great day for Islander hockey fans and a great place to take the family

Draft party was pretty good. Not as good as in years past,possibly because it may be the last one at Nassau Coliseum (thanks Kate Murray )-:). Used to be more stuff for fans and more meet n greet opportunities with players. Also the audio for the Draft was horrible and no one could figure out what was being said on big screen. Overall we had a great time and will definitely go back as long as it isn't held in Brooklyn at Barclay's center.

Couldn't tell which lines was for what. Waited on many lines then players left never got any autographs. The broadcast of the draft was hard to follow couldn't read the screen. Went to the daft party couple of years ago and was more organized and had a big screen to follow the draft.

GREAT TIME GOT TO MEET A COUPLE OF THE PLAYERS TORED THE LOCKER ROOM.

Nothing at all to do or see. Locker room tour....silly. Most rooms were closed off. Draft party was just for islanders to make money selling merchandise. You still had to pay for parking. If you had small children ages under 7 there were a few kiddie games but lines were well over 45 minutes. Totally boring. Waste of time. Ice girls....who cares. No players. It was stupid.

Wonderful time! Islanders did a great job and there was much to do for the kids too! Seeing Bobby Nystrom was the highlight!! Great guy! Tour of locker room was nice attraction. Lots of life to the event! BUT - the only issue - the music was WAAAAY TOO LOUD! You couldn't hear yourselves think, let alone talk to each other or the staff running things. Also the PA was WAAAYYYY TOO LOUD and TONS OF DISTORTION!! You couldn't understand anything the announcer was saying - neither could you catch a word when the Islander players were being interviewed. Way too loud and distorted. No reason for that at all. Same for the draft event on the screen - it was so loud and annoying that we left after 10 minutes of it. Other people walking out were saying the same thing.

Could've had a couple of more players at the event. Other than that, good time.

Always a good time and great opportunity to meet the prospects

Kudos for the Islanders for throwing their draft party. But it does come with some hang ups. First off the audio system is horrible. They were interviewing players and you could not hear a word they were saying. Secondly it was pretty much the same as last year as far as entertainment. Thirdly $9.50 a beer! I take this event as an event for the fans to come show their support for the Islanders but yet they have the audacity to charge in season prices for concessions during this event. C'mon Islanders give the fans something please.. Overall I am a big Hockey fan and enjoy the draft but I think next year I will stay home or watch it next year across the lot at the Marriott where prices for food and drink more reasonable.
