    Last comic standing

by Indiana21 on 12/8/15Effingham Performance Center - Effingham

Not very good. Comic did not seem prepared and material was not funny. Two were OK and rest were poor or terrible.

    Funny

by Sssssssh on 12/8/15Effingham Performance Center - Effingham

Great with exception of extreme cussing of one comedian, that was not funny, he needed more material.

Must of been an off night...

by LovesComedy5555 on 12/7/15Effingham Performance Center - Effingham

We love the show but the shortened season made it harder to feel a connection with this year's winners. We loved the first guy and the second guy was very crude but had people laughing so hard they couldn't breath. However, everyone seemed tired and not thrilled to be visiting a small town. Except for the first guy it seemed like everyone just got up on stage and winged it. It was disappointing at best and it seemed like there was a long intermission for no reason. Last year's show was amazing so we aren't sure if we should look forward to next year's show or not. Hopefully it will be better than this one.

    Disappointed

by Kimcon on 12/7/15Effingham Performance Center - Effingham

For the second year in a row went to see LCS at Effingham Performance Center. Michael and Ian were great but it really went downhill after that. Dominique was just ok, Andy and Clayton were terrible. Hardly anyone even laughed during their sets. Thought this would be an annual thing but not sure now. However, the venue was very nice.

Laughed so much my cheeks and stomach hurt!

by ABinLA on 11/30/15Saban Theater - Beverly Hills

Honestly, there was one comic I did not enjoy at all and one that was just OK. But I still highly recommend the show because the other 3 were so funny that it made it all worth it! I laughed so long and hard that my cheeks and stomach hurt when the show as over!

Not everyone brought it. Ian Bagg rocked it!

by MKCC on 11/14/15Barbara Mann Center for the Performing Arts - Fort Myers

Overall, we were disappointed with three of the five comedians... Ian Bagg was unquestionably the show stopper and worth the price of admission. Michael Palascak did a nice job. He brings a more intelligent social humor to the stage. Never understood how Andy Erikson made it to the finals... Her live performance confirmed our opinion. The biggest disappointments were Dominique and Clayton English. Dominique had many standout moments during the tv season. She was only mildly humorous on this evening. Clayton English was also a huge disappointment, so much so that if we weren't with another couple, we would have left as soon as it was obvious that he came unprepared. We expected him to be very funny, considering the fact that he was this year's champion. After seeing this performance, you wonder why. And his jokes about "midgets" were just very much in poor taste.

    Show was AMAZING!!!

by FunnyBones007 on 11/11/15Atlanta Symphony Hall - Atlanta

We are big fans of the show, so getting VIP tickets to the show was a no-brainer. We arrived for the meet and greet and got to do a brief behind the scenes tour and got to go on stage to see the comic's vantage point during the show. Comics came out and photos were taken and then to the question/answer portion. This was an awkward time because it was all 5 comics and 8 VIP guests and only 2 or 3 questions were asked. The comics kind of had banter between each other which was interesting to witness, but very lackluster. The VIP guide said that each one was different and kind of apologized at how abrupt it seemed to end because no one really had questions to ask. On to the show...it was amazing. I will caveat and say that the language and material is of a much more mature nature than the show on NBC. We kept this in mind being fans of comedy, but some expecting the same type of material from the show would definitely be in for a surprise. The winner always goes last and the other 4 rotate when they present their set. The first three did their piece and took intermission and all three were at the merch table so you could take pictures and talk to them. After intermission, the final two comics did their sets and Clayton actually introduced Ron White to the stage which was a huge surprise. He came on and did may 10 mins of a set on stage which was definitely a bonus in my book. After the show, 4 of the 5 comics were out at the merch table again for photos, autographs, etc. All in all, the show was great and if Last Comic Standing makes it another season and they have a tour, we will definitely be going back. If we do decide to do the VIP part again, we will be prepared to have plenty of questions just in case others do not. I would highly recommend it for anyone who is a fan of the show or just a fan of comedy. Five quality acts for a fairly reasonable price in my book. Finally, it is a comedy show so if you don't want to be the first targets for jokes, do not sit on the front few rows.

    Waste of money

by 124567899 on 11/11/15Atlanta Symphony Hall - Atlanta

The sound quality was really poor. I sat in several different sections and it made no difference. Probably great for the symphony but terrible for comedy. Ian Bagg was four stars, the other four comedians were duds. Total waste of time!

First 2 and last one could have stayed home. The little black girl and the tall Canadian were off the charts. Laughed so hard my girlfriends makeup ran off her face. My jaws still hurt from those 2 for laughing so hard. Would pay just to see those two. They got the winner way wrong.
