    overwhelming

by harristown on 2/20/16Enercare Centre - TORONTO

The event had a lot of things to do, but the lines were extremely long. This limited the number of activities you could participate in. I couldn't get to the gym where someone was playing against each other. I meant someone because I couldn't see over the crowd.

NBA event was great but I had issues with the venue. The drop-off for Enercare Centre was on Princess Blvd. around the corner of actual entrance which is considered Ricoh Coliseum. The drop-off was for credential people only and the people working had no clue. The signage was poorly executed. With the weather being so cold they should have made a better effort to get people to the correct entrance. Inside the event they didn't have maps or listings for player appearances. There wasn't a grand entrance welcome like in years past? Overall the space was huge and plenty of activities but very few sponsors?

Good event got to see players and the experience was GREAT for kids. Didn't expect it to be as kid friendly but it was a nice event nonetheless and I got there late.

    Once In A Lifetime

by ATX504 on 3/2/14New Orleans Convention Center - New Orleans

Had no idea that the Jam Sessions were packed with so much for kids and adults alike. We participated in everything like the All-Star Celeb Game, including the player meet and greets and autograph signing sessions. All of us, including our wives and the kids were able to get autographed balls and pics as well. My cousins a current NBA player and he was able to get us setup with tix to the All-Star game. If you have a chance to experience this event, make sure to do all 3 days and buy tix to all additional venues.

NBA All-Star Jam Session good for kids

by jamesshields on 2/26/14New Orleans Convention Center - New Orleans

It was a mixed bag for me and my son at this event. He had a lot of fun and was able to get one autograph. I feel like if some signage was added it would have been a little easier for a newbie. It took us a while to find our way around, particularly to the booth where you register your armbands. It's a cool idea, but mine apparently didn't work as I didn't receive one email about my experience. We showed up at the correct time for another autograph session, but the player was nowhere to be seen. Only a bare sign indicating we were at the right spot. Did he come too early? Who knows, b/c nobody was able to tell me what was going on. There are a million people working this thing, but only a few seemed to know what they were doing. I hate to be so negative about all these things, so here are a few positive notes. It's very nice they don't nickle and dime you to death at this thing, and my son had fun trying to dunk at a lot of the booths. I'm very glad I came to this event, but wouldn't do it every year. There is definitley something for everyone. It's just a bit overwhelming at times.
