Music at Marist is always awesome. The GA seats were great. Sat in the balcony for a great view.

by pesty52 on 4/30/14Bardavon 1869 Opera House - PoughkeepsieIt's amazing to hear the perfection in the voices of the singers along with the marist symhonic band. if you closed your eyes, you would never think that these were college- age students. They are so professional and sound so terrific. It's amazing that you can get this caliber of performance knowing that they are not paid as professional musicians and vocalists. I tip my hat to the wonderful, dedicated instructors for all they do to bring such a 'class' presentation to Bardavon.

by OreoZoe on 4/23/13Bardavon 1869 Opera House - PoughkeepsieThe kids' performances were great, especially the band, and the band and singers. Wonderful gifted musicians and very entertaining. However, the venue's ushers were running around squashing all parents' desire to get a picture or short video clip of their own children performing!! That may be appropriate in normal circumstances for that venue, but when it's children performing and parents watching, that "rule" should be relaxed for heaven's sake! Parents were quite upset.
