Mountain Oasis Electronic Music Summit Tickets

Absolutely fantastic. Great venues, both large and small, and Gary Numan and NIN were awesome.

Mountain Oasis was most unforgettable! We primarily went to see Bassnectar and Purity Ring and were blown away by both. I would like to see Purity Ring again Asap. I was slightly disappointed with Bassnectar, only, because he played all new stuff that I was unfamiliar with. Who I really want to praise is Claude Vonstroke! I had the most fun of the night dancing during his set. And The Mountain Goats energy was off the hook. I'm not the folk music type, but they rocked. I kinda wish we'd stayed at The Mountain Goats show a little longer instead of leaving right away to see Bassnectar.

I had not heard of many of the bands outside of the headliners---but in addition to NIN (the reason we went), The Chromatics and Gary Numan were great! I wish the band on the main arena stage before NIN would've been more upbeat. While their music was nice, it was pretty laid back, slow-building, and heavily acoustic. Another band would have been better on the main arena stage.

Mountain Oasis was absolutely amazing! Definitely returning for 2014!

For a first time go I would say that this festival was pulled off flawlessly. The RFID entrances and exits were a little bit of a pain and there were some technical difficulties which hopefully are ironed out in subsequent festivals. The additional exhibits and the city participation really made Asheville feel like home. Ever single act I saw started precisely on time which is truly astounding. The diversity of the lineups were also amazing with something literally for everyone. The walking distances between venues were sufficiently short so that multiple overlapping acts could reasonably be viewed. It is not the cheapest festival to attend but it is one of the better and I felt like I got what I paid for.

3rd Moogfest. Always fantastic lineup. Performers are competitive. Shows are very showcase like. Ashevilles beer selection is unbelievable. Venues are airy and effervescent. Venues are close energetic walks throughout an enchanting city.

Really enjoyed the Mountain Oasis festival. There were some great performances and events. All the venues were close together so it was easy to walk between them. Only complaint was that I missed some acts due to the compact schedule. Overall, well run festival that I would recommend to anyone.

First off, if this festival had been in another town, my review would be worse. However, it was great that the bands started in the evening as it left the days to explore the fun and funky town of Asheville. I bought VIP tickets to this event, which was a waste of money in this instance. I didn't see much benefit in having VIP tickets, except that we had OK seating in the larger venues and we didn't have to wait in a long line for access to each venue. However, the VIP lounge was cheesy and the whole atmosphere of the place seemed to be created for kids taking hard drugs--trippy lights, stuffed animals, etc. Also, the final lineup ended up being lackluster. The only performance I really enjoyed was Half Japanese. I doubt that I would attend this event again.

The whole lineup for the weekend was amazing and all the artist put on a great show!
