    Circus?

by Anonymous on 10/19/14Neal S Blaisdell Arena - Honolulu

Somewhat rinky dink! Small, no animals, too much sales tactics walking through aisles and seating during the show was VERY distracting.

How dare you call yourself a circus!

by Anonymous on 10/11/14Neal S Blaisdell Arena - Honolulu

This performance was more talent show ( and not a very good one, mistake upon mistake was made) and not a circus at all. The female ringmaster was fabulous, professional in dress and actions! The male ringmaster was sloppy and disrespectful in his lack of showmanship. The ONLY act that even came close to a circus act was the finale of the 2 girls on the trapize...they were great! I got the feeling that Hawaii doesn't matter enough to send their "A game" so we got the still learning team! No program, no band, just not professional. The sound system was turned up way, way too loud, the voices were so blaring loud they were not understandable. I was so very disappointed. To pay $60.00 for a second rate talent show was sad.

    worst circus ever

    by 123chorn on 10/9/14Neal S Blaisdell Arena - Honolulu

We 3 have seen the Moscow Circus opening day at 5:00 p.m. We saw many errors from the performers like the lady juggling she has drop the items many times. The lady doing the quick change we saw that she went inside the changing box and pulled off her clothing to reveal another outfit and left the old in the changing box where we could see it. The roller bowler guy made a mistake and had to redo the act over. The Circus felt boring and did not surprise us at all. We spent $52.80 for 3 of us and found it was not worth the price wish we did not go. The last circus that came here was way better, that is why we wanted to see this one but now I'm not sure if we will ever attend another circus in Hawaii.

Moscow Circus was a sales event

    by George808 on 10/9/14Neal S Blaisdell Arena - Honolulu

Too much time was devoted to selling junk. Acts were OK, not top notch except for the Mongolian Angels - they were outstanding. No animals, no acts from Moscow.

    Moscow Circus Flop

by HaYNs on 10/9/14Neal S Blaisdell Arena - Honolulu

Definitely not what I was expecting based on the publicity. When one thinks "circus", one imagines an abundance of fun, laughter, excitement, and the thrill of watching over the top circus acts, especially when the event is labeled an "International Circus." I've been to my fair share of circuses and this was by far the most expensive and in-exhilarating circus thus far. There weren't even animals. Pre-Moscow, I told my friends about going to this experience and we all anticipated circus animals, acrobatics, and everything else we've seen in circuses prior to Moscow. It was a disappointment--the ring stage didn't even fill half the arena! The arena usher wasn't friendly nor accommodating when problems arose. The seats we bought were cautioned off because of a leak from above. The usher told us to sit in another customer's seats but if those customers came, the usher just told us all to move over. And again when those customers came. Most of the customers in our area shuffled a lot. We all tried to discuss the issue with the usher. He didn't seem to understand and proceeded to tell us to keep hopping to different seats if the assigned customers came, which obviously posed a popcorn snowball issue as more customers came. We moved about 5 times. Eventually we figured out the ordeal amongst ourselves with no help from the usher. I gave a fair rating because there were moments that were truly entertaining and my parents had a good time for their first circus ever despite the disappointment I caused from giving this circus too much hype.

It was just ok, kids liked the face painting and snacks but there was no tightrope walker, the clown was lame and should have had more, there were no animals doing tricks, Americas got talent would have been way Better than this!

    Lame sauce

by Jobananas on 10/8/14Neal S Blaisdell Arena - Honolulu

The tricks are not that spectacular. Everything feels rushed. Nothing unforgettable. Could be so much better. Needs some better acts.

    Moscow International

by Anonymous on 10/8/14Neal S Blaisdell Arena - Honolulu

For a circus that was willing to travel to Hawaii without animals, the show was not too bad! It's more for the children anyway and they are easily entertained. The show ran a little under 3 hours with a 15-20 intermission that went by extremely fast. They had face painting and jump houses, but were NOT free! Wherever you were sitting however, you would able to see the acrobatic acts. I wouldn't have paid for front row though, you'd risk breaking your neck looking up at the acts.

    Fun - just not spectacular.

by DPang on 10/8/14Neal S Blaisdell Arena - Honolulu

The Circus didn’t have any animals – something out of their control because of petition of brining animals to Hawaii. It was entertaining – small circus. Nothing breathtaking – the young girl sitting next to me was getting bored and fell asleep – and these were $50.00 seats. My son is 7 and thought it was “good”, but he wouldn’t want to see it again.
