MOONSHINE BANDITS IN CONCERT:
California country rap duo Moonshine Bandits always gets the party started with their rowdy songs about jacked-up trucks, whiskey-soaked nights, and run-ins with the cops. Tex and Bird -- the project's masterminds -- are consummate live performers, bringing equal parts hip hop swagger and country twang to the stage as they raise the roof with catchy cuts like "Get Loose" and "California Country". With their slick beats, clever lyrics, and larger-than-life personalities, Moonshine Bandits always get hands waving and booties shaking at their raucous live shows.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Hailing from the farmlands of Central California, Moonshine Bandits formed in the early-'00s out of a desire to represent a rural Cali lifestyle that contrasts with the Hollywood image most people associate with the Golden State. With that in mind, Tex and Bird joined forces and began producing tracks as Moonshine Bandits, an homage to Tex's bootlegger great-grandfather. They made their debut in 2003 with the album Soggy Crackerz, a unique fusion of rap, country, and rock that helped establish them as a rising force in country rap. As their reputation grew so did their tour schedule, and in 2010 they were honored with an invitation to perform for US military personnel stationed at Fort Irwin, CA. In 2011 they released their album Whiskey & Women, a breakthrough success that landed on both the rap and country charts and drew them out for extensive touring. Tex and Bird have always been proud of their California heritage, and they continued to honor it in 2014 with the album Calicountry, a party-worthy release full of bass-heavy tracks that make the perfect addition to the duo's adrenaline-filled sets on tour.

by Jay on 9/3/22XL Live - HarrisburgWe actually drove about 2 1/2 hours to the venue. When we arrived I was relieved to see the place had an awesome vibe. Bartenders are great. In fact, the entire staff was great. Moonshine Bandits did an awesome show, even had fans up on stage with them. They didn’t have the turnout they deserved, could be because they were going into a holiday weekend and people on vacation. I would have no issue driving again to this venue for an future concert!

by Ray on 6/21/22XL Live - HarrisburgSo overall the show was great the openers they had where excellent I really enjoyed the singing of the national anthem as well and about the first two to three minutes of their openings long was excellent and then the power went out due to a Transformer being struck by lightning and smoke filled the building but up until that point it was an amazing concert hope someday to finish it
