Moonface Tickets

Fantastic show! I really love anything Spencer Krug does, and his new backing band Siinai is great. They really brought the new album to life on stage. See this tour!

Doors opened at 8, however the first of 3 bands (only 2 were advertised to be playing) came on at 9. They played for almost 40 minutes or so, with the downtime and setup for the next band taking another 20ish and they came on around 10. These bands are mediocre at best, and took way too much time to set up and get off the stage and everything. The first band was not really advertised to be playing either. Moonface took about 20 minutes to come on stage after setup, and put on a good show, playing until about 12:30. They came out for an encore which was nice, but was a bit disappointing itself.

Moonface was amazing. The crowd was great, the bar was great, and the band was awesome.

Moonface and the opening act both took me for a run. The percussion called to mind phase music and Reich which was pleasant to have Krug yelp over. Very nice.

Spencer Krug is god and can do no wrong. The show was wuh-uh-ut-oh-awesome and if you're a fan of his you know you'll love it, why are you even reading this review?

This show is totally beyond expectation. I would definitely go to see them again in October.
