Wonderful movie selection, clean auditorium, amazing performance by the Symphony. Looking forward to more pop culture movies and live orquestra in the near future.
My family thoroughly enjoyed the Star Wars movie night at the MPAC. WOW! To have the symphony orchestra play during the movie was incredible. Montgomery, Alabama has a premier event space at the MPAC. Tickets are easy to purchase, the parking deck is connected to the event space, and the concert area is within the beautiful Renaissance hotel.
Movie Night theme was amazing. I can’t wait till next year. The symphony orchestra was A1. Sounded just like the movie orchestra.
This was just a phenomenal way to watch such a classic movie. The orchestra did such an amazing job and the sound was so beautiful and full. Hoping they choose the next two Star Wars movies (5 & 6) as well to perform alongside. Thank you for this opportunity.
The orchestra’s accompaniment was perfect. I highly recommend catching the Symphony whenever possible.
Star Wars is my favorite movie. I got so much more out of the music I have loved since 1977 hearing it live! I heard specific instruments that I had never paid attention to before. I'm glad I had the chance to see and hear the orchestra!
I had a wonderful time at the Montgomery Symphony Holiday Concert. The orchestra has never sounded better in my opinion and I’ve been attending MSO concerts for about 18 years. The selections were perfect, both the familiar songs and those that were new to me, especially the Hanukkah music. The Montgomery Chorale was a lovely addition to the music in the second half. Bravo to the director of the Chorale and to Maestro Hinds!!! This concert ranks as one of my favorites ever! My Christmas has officially started!
This year was amazing with so many different suites! The Hand Bells were truly beautiful. There is nothing that will get you in the Christmas spirit more than attending the Holiday Pops Concert! Love you all and thanks for all the hard work putting this show together.
The Christmas program was beautiful! A very nice variety of types of music. I always love music from The Nutcracker. I did miss having soloists this year, although the bell choirs added a different element to the program.
We're going to start going to their regular performances because the holiday performance was so enjoyable!
