The New Years party was amazing. Lots of music, plenty of alcohol and since it was open bar, I had my fair share. Everyone was great especially the casino employees. Purchasing the tickets from Ticketmaster was simple. Saved them in my Apple Wallet and scanned them in the entrance to the ball room. Will definitely attend next years party.
DJ was fantastic; there was plenty of room on the dance floor and in the room itself. The only issue we had was it was too crowded for the bar lines. So I wasted a lot of time on the bar line. Everything else was perfect.
Not enough staff for an open bar. Passed out champagne 20 seconds before ball dropped. Most people didn’t get any. There was supposedly a buffet but no one knew where that was either.
The party was nothing like I expected. I was very disappointed in the party. The music was not good to dance too. Did not have any direction to it. The bar took very long and the food was outside and should have had at least more snacks. I don’t think it was worth $100 for the night. I will not attend this event again
Spent New Years 2020 at Mohegan Sun and went to the ballroom for the New Year’s Eve party. First the good. Great DJ, Great party atmosphere, Good Breakfast buffet. Now the bad: Three bar stations with two bartenders at each hand pouring drinks at a turtles pace. Took twenty minutes in line to get two open bar drinks. I had two drinks 40 minutes of torture, Piss poor. The drinks would flow better if the bartenders had a drink wand to pour mixes. Second not enough seats to sit down. There where about twenty tables with the most miserable people sitting at them. My girlfriend asked a person at a table if she could sit for a minute, the woman scowled at her “NO”. I was pissed. If I go back for New Years again there I would recommend just hang by the water fall area for free and buy drinks at the bar!
Unorganized. Took 40 minutes to get a drink and lots of people had to sit on the floor to eat.
The ballroom was beautiful and enough space for the crowds to dance, roam around etc. the music was a little disappointing.. too much techno and not enough today’s hits were played. Some people who cutting into the long lines for drinks..a little frustrating. The breakfast was great! Really the best highlight of the night since the food tasted really good!
It was a nice party and something to do. While there were many option to choose from this was in the ballroom, which made it kind of intimate. Unfortunately, I do not think the organizers really thought through the open bar portion of the party. That was a little hectic and hard to get a drink throughout the night for obvious reasons. They could have done better there. Not sure I would do it again but I was ok with trying that experience.
This event had great potential but fell short for a few reasons. The first issues was that it wasnt enough bars for an open bar event. It only 2 bars for 600 plus people. Lastly, the DJ wasnt diverse enough for the crowd there. She only played house music all night. Definitely a big let down for most people we talked to. On a positive note the buffet breakfast was a great add-on and had a plenty of food. Overall not a bad event.
Venue was so decorated so nice! Went above and beyond what I expected. They even have a cute photo booth. Sadly, there wasn’t a variety of music played through the night. The DJ only played house music. Wish they would have listed the DJ’s name on the site to screen her first before attending
