    Pretty Good Show !!!

by SCIFRAT on 8/5/10Bank of America Pavilion - Boston

All in all a pretty good show, however changes between bands seemed a little long and some artist should do more than three songs before they take off. GOO GOO Dolls rocked the place

    The Goo Goo Dolls

by CT291 on 8/5/10Bank of America Pavilion - Boston

The Goo Goo Dolls performance was excellent. One of the best live bands out there. I became a fan of both of their warmup acts - Switchfoot and Spill Canvas. A nice surprise with Maroon 5. I thought Kris Allen should have been given more time to perform. Overall the best show that I have seen this year.

GooGoo Dolls awesome - event just average

by gemstonegirl on 8/3/10Bank of America Pavilion - Boston

The GooGoo Dolls were worth the price of admission; however, the hype for the event did not match reality. Chris Allen and Barenaked Ladies front man were rushed through and should have been given more time - would have rather seen more of them than Switchfoot. The breaks between acts were way too long and made the event get a little dull at times. What happened to Sara Barellis - it was reported that she would be there. Also, the much advertised "Big Surprise" was a let down..... Maroon Five.... not such a big deal - sorry.

    Mixfest 2010

by JayFa on 8/3/10Bank of America Pavilion - Boston

All performers were great. Very disappointed that such limited time was allotted for the first three Acts. Steven Page certainly could have performed more than 3 songs, Kris Allen more than 3 songs and Maroon 5 more than 2. Slip Canvas had a nice sound but had difficulty understanding the words and 8 songs was TOO much. They should have had cut them in half and allowed the all 4 acts to have at least 4 songs. This was my first time to see Switchfoot and the Goo Goo Dolls and was really impressed with them. I have been to the last 8 Mixfests and this year felt more likea Goo Goo Dolls Concert with a few extra opening songs than a Mixfest.

I went for Kris Allen but most everyone rocked!

by krismed on 8/3/10Bank of America Pavilion - Boston

Not the best concert i've ever been too but it was good. Steve Paige and the very long intermission I could have lived without. I love Kris Allen and wish I went to a concert just of him. Spill Canvas and Maroon 5 were enjoyable. Switchfoot really surprised me when the lead singer came into the crowd for the whole first song. It was great and so was the whole preformance. And finally there was the Goo Goo Dolls........of course they rocked. They only reason I might consider not going next year is the crowd.........they had no energy until Switchfoot. Some people really didn't change expression or move much the whole time. For me, I love the vibe and energy around me at a concert so I was missing that.

    Not enough Kris Allen

by sylvanaire on 8/3/10Bank of America Pavilion - Boston

First I want to say thank you for the show, it was a wonderful line up, and all the acts were great live. Having said that, I did come to the show (all the way from Maine!) specifically for Kris Allen, and was disappointed he only got 3 songs. He and Cale sounded wonderful, and I loved every minute, but it was too short. I wish he could have sung at least one more song, like his new single, The Truth. And while I'm not a big fan of Maroon 5, 3 songs for them seemed pretty measly. How is it worth it to these artist to just perform 3 songs and leave? I also thought there was a lot of wasted time between acts, even allowing for the roadies to change out the stage for each one. In the long wait between M5 and Spill Canvas, we could have had several more songs from KA and M5. Just sayin'. *smile* Okay, now that my complaints are out of the way, lol, I had a great time, I'm glad I came, and all the acts were great, even Spill Canvas, who I hadn't heard of before. I might even have to check out their EP. Switchfoot and GGD were amazing live, and so deserving of their fame. Great entertainers!

Goo Goo Dolls were AwEsOmE as always !

by Laureen on 8/3/10Bank of America Pavilion - Boston

The show was great ! I really went for the Goo Goo Dolls the other bands were just icing on the cake. I have seen the Goo Goo Dolls before and they always put on an energetic show ! They just make the crowd come alive and sing & dance around. My daughter has like The Spill Canvas for about 4 years now so she was stoked for that. I have to add that it was our 1st time at The Bank of America Pavilion and we loved it ! I really don't think there was a bad seat in the house ! The breeze off the water was refreshing & parking and getting out of the venue was the best ! I have waited for hours in Comcast to just move out of 1 parking lot so the fact that we were out of the venue , in our car & driving in about 15mins was amazing. The prices inside were inline with every other venue I've been so just the normal outrageous prices but again no different than anywhere else.!

    Wanted More Kris Allen

by kd4ka on 8/3/10Bank of America Pavilion - Boston

What an amazing night of talent. Kris Allen deserved more time to showcase his talent. Kris sounds so great live. Pure bliss to listen to. Switchfoot wowed me! Maroon 5 was a great surprise, but as with Kris, the short set was a tease!
