My family of four had a great time. Our seats were ok but I would sit a little higher next time. The bar on the bottom had some of our view obstructed. I would sit in rows 5-10 next time. The game itself was great!
The tickets were a birthday present with five boys and three adults. The seats were perfect! Everyone had so much fun!! What a great family outing! It was even better to leave with Surge winning 4 to 2! We plan on attending other Surge games in the future.
Worst hockey game I have ever been to. Years ago Southern hockey was amazing, this time around not so much.
I am an avid pro hockey fan who moved to the south and have been missing hockey. I was skeptical about going to a Hockey game here. However I was proven wrong and they put on a real nice show. I would go again!
Initially, my guests and I were not able to enter the Mississippi Gulf Coast coliseum. The printed internet tickets from Ticketmaster would not scan. Southern hospitality took over at this point. Coliseum customer service took immediate acdtion to correct the situation. They were able to issue my guest and I regular game tickets. Eventhough the Mississippi Surge lost to the Augusta Riverhawks, the game was entertaining. Devoted Nashville Predators (NHL) fan. Go Preds
The SPHL game on Dec 26th between Mississippi Surge and Louisiana IceGators was a terrific sporting event. The Mississippi Coast Coliseum is a super venue for hockey and other entertainment. Parking is convenient. Staff is knowledgeable and professional. The thousands in attendance got their money's worth, with the hockey action and the between-periods entertainment and fundraisers. NHL teams should consider their fan base in Mississippi and play preseason exhibition games at Coliseum. Other touring shows must book the Coliseum, too. Plenty of hotels, restaurants, stores, gas stations, airport, bus lines, and other service businesses are complementary allies to the Coliseum, all working to keep Mississippi's Gulf Coast a great place to experience time and time again.
Minor League Hockey in a Beautiful venue. Good seats available, good food, Major league graphics and announcer. Small crowd but really into their hometown team.
Enjoyed quick paced action and plan to attend future games.
Action from beginning to end! Point answered for point, competition leading to fights, tie game leading to overtime, leading to shootout, leading to sudden death!!! Who could ask for more!!!
