    Great show!

by Norma on 5/24/23California Theatre of the Performing Arts - San Bernardino

Loved the show! Great actors and singers. Liked the venue. Hate the surrounding. Was a little worried parking the car across the street but it was fine. We went there with the idea of having dinner there but there’s really no where to eat.

    Great performances

by CAP on 5/24/23California Theatre of the Performing Arts - San Bernardino

Never heard of the storyline, friend was a hige fan so i decided to go with her to check it out. The cast voices were amazing. My only negative was the amount of cussing from the engineer character, some was okay but i felt he overly did it and it wasnt needed. But great acting from the entire cast and vocals were amazing on all solo's. Backdrops were done nicely.

    Still a fan

by NLE on 5/23/23California Theatre of the Performing Arts - San Bernardino

So excited to see Miss Saigon back on stage esp in Southern California! Theatre location was in a shady neighborhood with few restaurants, so had to drive further out to arrive on time for doors to open. There was free parking close to theatre. Beautiful preservation inside historic theatre with great seats in each area and drinks allowed inside. Storyline still heartwrenching even with changes to script by adding, deleting, and removing lines. Saddened with overused profanity, which was unnecessary to this already powerful tragic love story. Vocals were powerful especially by cast members per playbill: Chris (Jordan Killion), Gigi (Angel Dumapias), and Ellen (Katie McGhie), even with the noticeable lyric changes when one is fond of the original Broadway soundtrack. Scenery still amazing with the helicopter and prop locations to see cast. Costumes were also sadly modernized to be more revealing, which was also unnecessary to keep this well known tragedy alive. Still a fan and thankful for all the effort and hard work involved!

    Good performance

by Jonie on 5/22/23California Theatre of the Performing Arts - San Bernardino

The performers and stage setting was good. Unfortunately, due to the sound manager or the venue, it was suffix to hear the performers over the music for 50% of the play.

    Absolutely fantastic!

by Ted on 2/6/20Tennessee Theatre - Knoxville

I last saw the production in New York City in 1999. I served in Saigon during 1965 and 1966, and know how true the performance is to the real life situation there.
