Ran very smooth. I would have liked to buy an all session ticket or at least all day tickets, was not given that choice with TM
Very well run and extremely clean for the amount of people going through! Only suggestion—a different way to empty the arena between sessions. Letting people back in sooner to walk around and eat so no one has to go outside during the time between.
Too expensive for everything! Not being able to leave without having to pay to re-enter is a joke. Can’t afford even bottled water; what happened to water fountains? It was also dang cold in the building!! Please consider the costs for ALL HS events. Parents bring younger siblings & go broke in doing so.
Tickets and Concessions were way too expensive for a Highschool Event…
We have been to basketball tournament, baseball tournaments, football tournament, and hockey tournaments, but none of the fans are as kind and courteous as the wrestling fans. The slide show and pageantry for the finalists was absolutely wonderful. We loved the trivia too. One question remains, however. Why aren't the mats for the finals arranged as they should be? Why is AAA next to A? If it is placed there to draw more fans from the bigger schools, think again. Our AA provides just as many.
The Xcel center does an amazing job hosting the State wrestling Championships. Amazing sight lines, comfortable seats and friendly staff make this a must attend event.
Got to excel twice and had trouble with bar code working. Held up the line both times?
They should sell a full package deal online for the tournament. Wrestling was great ticketing was the hardest
Event moved along reasonably well. Crowd behaved and was respectful.
