The only problems i had with the event were the ppl standing in front of the stage...and also, I think Bobby Blue Bland has did his time and now its time to pass it on to someone else...I fell a sleep on his part...srry

Bobby Rush was smooth. Denise LaSalle resonates in my memory. Wasn't it nice to see Bobby Blan?

    Milwaukee Blues Festival - WOW!!!!

by Eve35 on 2/21/11US Cellular Arena Wisconsin Center District - Milwaukee

The experience was awesome. The show started on time and the transition between acts was superb. The time for Sir Charles Jones could have been longer... I truly enjoyed his energy. The Manhattans......WOW!!!!! Showstoppers! That sound and harmony - can't find much of that anymore. This event was well worth the dollars spent.

Floyd Taylor was off the chain

by eyvonne on 2/21/11US Cellular Arena Wisconsin Center District - Milwaukee

I thought the show itself was great. The blue chairs I sat in was not comfortable. I felt cramped for the duration of the show. I think the blue chairs were placed too close together, therefore not leaving any elbow room. I would perferred to sit in the stadium, next time in the red chairs. Also, needed more security to monitor people standing up in the way of guest not being able to see. Over all, the stage I had great view. The performers were excellent except Bobby Blue Bland. It was obvious that he was sick. He half sanged the few songs that he did. He even sat down for the entire short performance that he did. Love B.B. Bland dearly but his entertainment days from I saw its over! He really needs to let it go if he is not able to put out a good show. People paid alot of money to see him.

    MILWAUKEE BLUES FESTIVAL

by MZBIZNEZ1 on 2/21/11US Cellular Arena Wisconsin Center District - Milwaukee

I ENJOYED THE SHOW VERY MUCH ALL THE OLDER BLUES SINGERS WERE STILL WONDERFUL. I REALLY ENJOYED SIR CHARLES BUT I DONT THINK HE GOT ENOUGH STAGE TIME. I WOULD RECOMMEND THAT WHEN THEY DO THE 8TH ANNUAL BLUS FESTIVAL THAT THEY BRING SOME OF THE ORIGINALS THAT CAN STILL PERFORM WELL BUT ADD YOUNGER ARTIST SUCH AS SIR CHARLES TO KEEP THE ATTRACTION FOR THE NEW BLUES LISTENERS. THE SHOW HAD ATTENDEES THAT WERE MAINLY IN THERE EARLY 20'S AND 30'S AND A FEW OLDER PEOPLE IN LATE 40'S AND 50'S BUT NOT MANY. OVERALL THE SHOW WAS WONDERFUL AS USUAL.

I truly enjoyed myself, the staff was great and the time of the event gave you time to get dressed on a Friday night. I would recommend this event to anyone and everyone.

    Milwaukee Blues Festival

by jcoates51 on 2/20/11US Cellular Arena Wisconsin Center District - Milwaukee

I buy my ticket, pay alot of money and get a good seat only to have people come from the back and stand in front of me--where's the security. Poor Bobby Blue Bland should not be touring. Unfortunately, he can not sing anymore. The best act of the night - The Manhattens came on last or I would have left, but only got to sing three songs. They were great but should have stayed home and listened to their cds.

    BLUES FESTIVAL

by LADYTBUG on 2/20/11US Cellular Arena Wisconsin Center District - Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE BLUES FEST WAS A BLAST. THE SOUND WAS GREAT, THE PEOLPE WERE NICE, THE PERFORMERS WERE FRIENDLY AND ENTERTAINING. THE SHOW STARTED ON TIME AND LASTED THREE HOURS NONE STOP. THERE WAS PLENTY OF ROOM IF YOU WANTED TO DANCE. IT WAS SOLID, GOOD OLD FASHION FUN. I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO GOING NEXT YEAR. I LOVED THE MEET & GREET WITH THE ARTIST AFTER THE SHOW. THE SHOW IS BLACK OWNED AND OPERATED.
