by Luv2quilt on 6/11/12Carolina Theatre - DurhamYears ago, we went to many many many of his concerts....and loved them. Seeing him again was a treat! He sounded as good as ever and sang many of our favorites along with some of his newer more reflective songs, which we liked as well. We were unaware of his health issues until the end of the concert - he was a trooper to play for such a long show and the only thing we missed was him playing the fiddle more. If you get a chance to see this NC legend -do it, you won't regret it!
