I really had a great time and look forward to the concert next year. I drove down from Cincinnati. The directions on the GPS took me to a wrong location. But now that I know where the Yum Center is I will gladly go back again. The line up was excellent. Toni Braxton and Babyface gave a wonderful performance.
This was one of the best concerts I've been to in a long time! The show lasted 6 hours!!!! The intermissions were a little tiring and the guy who was supposed to entertain us was not funny so that didn't help! Other than that I had an amazing time!
Me and my woman went... Were on the side... I believe that was 89.00 plus the fee. We are from Lexington... Seem there were several like us from lex sitting in the same section. We went the first night. sitting looked patchy as tix were solding at premium. (closer you were more you paid) wish they just went with one whole price and kept everyone together as most ppl were on the floor or back or first two sections of the side. anyone who has seen a Uk football game after about the third quarter knows what I mean. Do wish the entertainment was lined up by better. I dont think ginuine and lyfee jennings should be with charlie wilson and chaka khan. lyfe and ginuine should be with anthony and tony while charlie and chaka with baby face.... I suppose kinds like cincinnati macys jazz fest.... where frankie beverly, maze and all other old school acts would be on sunday night. some 80's 90 acts on friday and ther rest on saturday with old school on sunday .... I would exclud ginwine from this concert...nothign personal... just seem out. Overall I never been to macys but knows it a headache when it comes to rooms and traffic..... this event only downfall was being a week prior to soul food fest which makes ppl choose one or the other since tix were high for both. seats perfect... maybe pay $75.00 for
Though I really wanted to attend Friday, I am so glad I came to the Saturday night concert. Anthony Hamilton was a real killer--he is an awesome performer! And his backup singers gave us a wonderful stage show. The show could have ended then! Then there was Baby Face--well, I have never have seen him in concert before--but he was the bomb and his interaction with the crowd was phenomenal. Though Toni Braxton was excellent, she did not get the best of us--the crowd. By the time she came on, everyone was either tired or leaving.
SIMPLY LOVED, LOVED THE SHOW ALL PERFORMERS WERE GREAT....BUT CHARLIE WILSON WAS SIMPLY AWESOME!!!!!
the sound system was horrible, to much bass, vocals mic not clear, consent muffled sound or there was a continue break in the sound. toni braxton came on last boring . her sound man didn't have her mic's together at all, way to much bass and you couldn't understand hardly anything she was singing.
AMAZINGLY AWESOME !!!!! TONI INTER-ACTED WITH MY WIFE & I , THE TRIP FROM DELAWARE WAS VERY MUCH WORTH IT ...
Enjoyed Mali Music.... Avant.... Anthony Hamilton.... and Babyface but Toni Braxton was absolutely AMAZING and stole my heart the moment she stepped on stage! LOVE LOVE LOVE her!
This concert was excellent accept for the fact that it was a bit long. By the time Toni Braxton finished performing it was well after 1am. The concert started at 7:30pm
The festival was very fun! The event was very enjoyable with little to no chaos
