Mid-South MMA Championships Tickets

They organizers were so unprepared!! Two of the 9 matches did not happen!! They delayed the fight for 35 minutes only to have 7 of the matches. They keep calling for the fighters over the system but no show. Why was this not taken care of 1 hour before start time. The fighters should have been in the hotel 2 hours before the start of the event. The card was fair at best. A bunch of want-a-be fighters. Most had only had 3 fights under their belts. They should have given away free beer. They kept announcing the sponsors all night long. Once was enough.

I would definately go back, in which this is my second event.. Had an amazing time , except for seat location, if the padding on ring wasnt in front of our view, wouldve been great seating.

great event. very organized. great seats at a fair price. would like to see better organizing of seat labels. this caused confusion and ended up not sitting in our purchased seats.

I took my 14 yr old son and his best friend and my husband. We had a great time. I could not believe it lasted 4 hours and we saw some really good talent and it was well worth the money. The only thing we would do different is get a hotel and spend the night. We drove from Starkville, MS and didn't get home until 3 am. My son thought it was awesome and was so glad I got tickets to this event. The drinks were a little pricey but the food was priced well.

Paid good money to be on floor. That was my first mistake. No room for big boys. Saw very bad reffing, very bad calls, time keeper was way off. There was some great fights though. I'll never go back though. I truthly felt ripped off.

My first time watching a live mma event was completely different than watching it on tv I enjoyed the event wish I could have seen more standup than mat wrestling and choke holds but will be attending again

Fights started a little late but well worth it. Great fights, just wish the refs didnt call the fights so soon.

I had looked forward to seeing my first MMA at the Civic Center. I took a group of 10. 4 of us were on the front row of our section. A woman below us stood for nearly the entire event. She blocked our view. When I asked an usher to ask her to sit down, she told me there was nothing she could do. Well, we won't be going to ANY events at the Civic Center in the future. Why buy good tickets if you are not going to be able to see!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These fights, coming on Aug 6, are the second round of fights put on at this venue. If they are anything like the first, they should be absolutely amazing! The last show was VERY entertaining! Some things could have been done differently- the announcer, having booths with shirts/merchandise, but for the very most part, an absolute amazing show! The fights were pound for pound, beat downs. Not a dull moment in any of the bouts! The floor seats could be more spaced out, however, seeing how there were so many floor seats avaliable for this show, its understandable why they were so close together. The last show had a lot of bouts and from my understanding, this show will have even MORE! Not often do you attend a MMA event (other than a PPV or StrikeForce) that has more than 8 or 9 bouts! Well worth the money! And definitely a show I do NOT intend on missing! Will be there, cheering on the MidSouths TOP fighters!

The positive was that the bouts were good. The negatives were that we could hardly hear the announcer between bouts, the seats on the floor were too close together (I mean there was absolutely no room side by side), and there were no t-shirts being sold. Just not enough entertainment between fights. I have been to smaller venues with more entertainment. It just really wasn't worth the price of admission.
